Publisher's Summary

When had life stopped being so simple? Probably around the time that Casey Frost first agreed to pay off her drug-addict brother's debt to save him from a brutal beating. It soon became a "thing". When the dealer - who's also an Alpha shifter - demands she do something that goes against her very being, Casey decides enough is enough. It's while she's confronting the Alpha that he appears - Eli Axton, a ruthless wolf shifter with a dark reputation. When their eyes lock and the mating urge violently kicks in, she knows her world is about to change.

The last unmated male in his pack, Eli feels weary and alone. Seeing his friends so happy makes the head enforcer acutely feel the absence of his true mate. He wouldn't have expected to find her in the parking lot of a shifter fight club or for her to be such an unusual breed of shifter. Certain the female enforcer belongs to him, he doesn't hesitate to claim her. Not everyone is happy to see Casey mated, though. Soon, danger is coming at them from different angles, threatening the life they're trying to build. Their enemy needs to be eradicated fast. But how did you destroy an enemy when you weren't sure who they were?

Contains mature themes.

One of the best books since Dark Instincts!!

really well done and a different than the last few. I'm really sad this series is over and wish it could go on forever it's taken me 6months to listen through all the Pheonix and Mercury pack series and I will miss these characters dearly.

Just not doing it for me 😔

I am not caring for most the words used during sex scenes. This one jumped right into things so there was nothing drawing me in. I didn't feel that pull.

AmazeBalls!!! More Please!!!

I love this series I’m bummed it’s over but it’s been such a good ride. I’m so glad Eli found his mate and she is perfect for him. I love strong female leads and Kacy is strong, funny and a great match for Eli. I really hope a Kane’s and Cass story comes out I’m really looking forward to seeing how there courtship goes. As usual the narrator did an amazing job. Highly recommended

I love this!

I loved another one of the Mercury Packs stories. I just wish it was available in audio like the rest of them are. I used my accessibility voice reading option but it was no way as good as a narrator. I love this series

Eli's book didn't disappoint

I've waited a long time for Eli's book, I own all the audios and Jill Redfield does an amazing job, so I had to wait until the audio came out. It was everything I wanted for Eli. Casey was perfect! Eli has never been an easy wolf to live with, we've seen that in the past books in the series, but Casey knows when to push back and when to just follow along. I loved the overall arcs of the book, and the outcomes for both. I'm sad our time with the Mercury and Phoenix packs is over, but hopefully the epilogue gives some hope to a future series about the children of the pack. Suzanne Wright and her shifter books are always a auto buy for me, so I'm looking forward to the next series only a couple weeks away.

New Favorite!

I have been looking forward to Eli’s story since Marcus and Roni. This did not let me down. I loved the Casey and how sting she was and how perfect they were together. Jill Redfield brought the story to life bringing the characters depth and emotions forward. Will re-listen often.

Eli got his Perfect Mate!!!!🐺🥰

Eli story was truly refreshing and reminded me why I fell in love why this series of books in 1st place.
Casey personal story made this book all more interesting too (more relatable) and her sportsmanship made me actually WISHED BADLY I could see her and team the Hounds play a match.
After "Untamed Delight" the Phoenix pack book 8, which wasnt my cup of tea and a bit of a let down. With this book it was great to see both were open to the mating bonds from the jump!!! And Eli didn't run from it Unlike his brother Nick when he first seen Shaya.
And so glad to see Ms Wright made Eli's mate perfect for him in every way and still she has own stands, strength and well dam Casey didnt even hesitated to put his mom in her place.
This book was great read.

PS. I REALLY hope that Cassidy and Kane gets their own book in this series because I really would like to know how he went about winning her heart!🥰🤗

Loved It

I Loved how this books ties the whole family and their past together. How both families have grown along with each new character. Suzanne Wright and the Phoenix Pack got me addicted to this genre and I am still going. I HOPE we get the future generation of these Wonderful characters. Enjoy

🌻This couple had it a bit too easy 🌻

🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻V from Kansas🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻

I enjoyed this book just as I have enjoyed all the books in the two Packs series. This book did have less emotional intensity, then most of the others. This couple had more of an insta-love relationship, instead of having to fight for their relationship by surviving trials and tribulations. This isn’t always a bad thing. Honestly, this wasn’t one of my favorites, in the series, however, it was still worth the credit and the listen.

OK story but too much sex.

I think the story was a bit thin and she filled the gaps with a whole lot of repetitive sex. The ending, that seems like a wrap up of the series, was so fast that I couldn’t tell who had which child. Narrator was great as usual.

Same story, different characters

The best part of this audio were the soccer scenes. The rest I have heard before in the other installments of the series. One of Wright’s hallmarks are steamy smex but the names are interchangeable and there is nothing new. And the characters have lost some dimension - they say the same things, same behavior patterns, same dialogue. Sigh.

Eli and Casey

I would love there to be a whole series of mink shifters finding their non-mink shifter mates. Only because the big battle scene had me dying from laughing so hard! Amazing! I adore all of Suzanne’s shifter books so much! Must read and if you can listen cause Jill Redfield does an outstanding job voicing the characters!!

a great one !!!
