Through out most of the story development I was sighing and grumbling in frustration. Every minor mistake you could make to disrupt your future seemed to be made. Everything from innocent lies of omission, predictable obstinate oppositional leaders who think they're capable of rational discussion but demonstrate hypocrisy... I didn't find it to be a relaxing read, yet my irritation with the characters choices apparently kept me hooked to see how far these problems would be taken, and how much resolution and reflection would wrap uo the story... but book 1 only. The story is yet unresolved.
