VERY realistic characters. Their complicated psyches are quite consistent within themselves, in my view as an Abnormal Psych expert.

Also, plot kept me guessing, which is fun :-)

Be prepared to ride on a HUGE roller coaster of emotions, though.

The ending was 100% not predictable. Y’all are liars lol. Very good story with great voice acting. I like how all the characters sounded different so I could tell who’s who just by the voice as it takes me a bit to remember the actual names in any book. I really enjoyed this!
Also don’t read “Leigh’s” review as she literally spoils the entire twist. Thanks Karen.

Within the first few chapters I knew exactly what this book was and how it was going to end. Too long, too whiny, too repetitive imo.

My main problem with this was that a story focused around bullying someone until they commit suicide is a dark place to ask your readers to follow you to without anything more than a revenge story to hang all the trauma on. Found it upsetting.

From the get go, I thought “gimme a break” . The whole premise is not relatable at all. But you put yourself in the scenario of some kinda Hollywood movie or reality tv show.
It fails in so many places. But you start to root for certain characters. I figured out the main plot twist pretty early. But was willing to see where it went.
It’s a good, mindless listen. You’re not going to recommend this book to anyone, but you are going to say “oh, I also read that. It was ok” it’s not going to stick with you unless someone else mentions it.
It’s a listen worth a good walk, and a car ride.
