Why is there a loophole in Canada's quarantine laws for illegal border-crossers at Roxham Road? Why did the Liberals gather up Canada’s medical equipment and ship it to China as a gift? And why on Earth did Trudeau give $838,000 to the Wuhan Virology Institute?

America is great for a reason. Built on principles of freedom, rugged individualism, and self-sufficiency, no country has ever accumulated more power and wealth, abused it less, or used that power more to advance the human condition. And yet, as America blossomed, left-wing radicalism and resentment festered beneath the surface, threatening to undermine democracy in the form of social justice warriors, the deep state, and compromised institutions like academia and the mainstream media.

Story
From Howard Zinn’s A People’s History of the United States to the New York Times' 1619 project, the modern Left views American history through the lens of competing oppressions, replacing the traditional understanding that all Americans are part of a shared journey toward the perfection of universal ideals. Their attacks on the values that built our nation, from the rights to free speech and self-defense to the importance of marriage and faith communities, are insidious because they replace each of them with nothing beyond an increased reliance on the government.

A recent poll showed 43 percent of Americans think more socialism would be a good thing. What do these people not know? In The Case Against Socialism, Rand Paul outlines the history of socialism, from Stalin’s gulags to the current famine in Venezuela. He tackles common misconceptions about the “utopia” of socialist Europe. As it turns out, Scandinavian countries love capitalism as much as Americans, and have, for decades, been cutting back on the things Bernie loves the most.

Story
Black Americans have long been shackled to the Democrats. Seeing no viable alternative, they have watched liberal politicians take the Black vote for granted without pledging anything in return. In Blackout, Owens argues that this automatic allegiance is both illogical and unearned. She contends that the Democrat Party has a long history of racism and exposes the ideals that hinder the Black community’s ability to rise above poverty, live independent and successful lives, and be an active part of the American dream.

In 2012, on his third tour of duty in Afghanistan, an improvised explosive device left Dan Crenshaw's right eye destroyed and his left blinded. Only through the careful hand of his surgeons, and what doctors called a miracle, did Crenshaw's left eye recover partial vision. And yet, he persevered, completing two more deployments. Why? There are certain stories we tell ourselves about the hardships we face - we can become paralyzed by adversity or we can adapt and overcome. We can be fragile or we can find our fortitude. Crenshaw delivers a set of lessons to help you do just that.

Unfreedom of the Press is not just another book about the press. [Levin] shows how those entrusted with news reporting today are destroying freedom of the press from within - not through actions of government officials, but with its own abandonment of reportorial integrity and objective journalism. With the depth of historical background for which his books are renowned, Levin takes you on a journey through the early American patriot press, which proudly promoted the principles set forth in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.

Happily surprised, Tucker is much more nuanced than you’d expect, trust me
My only knowledge of Tucker Carlson was limited and superficial before reading this book. Like most people my age (mid-twenties), I had seen videos of his Fox show on Youtube. I had a neutral opinion of him, found him sometimes right, sometimes wrong, sometimes open-minded, sometimes stubborn, etc. This audiobook is a deep dive into Carlson’s opinion on different topics (most of them politically charged), and it is not what you’d expect. This format allows him to throughly develop his positions and opinions in a way he simply could not do on his show. I devoured the book within a few days. Once you’re done listening to the book, I recommend you go watch his interview with Ben Shapiro during one his recent “Sunday Special”. It’s on Youtube and it’s a great one. Enjoy!

If you like Tucker, you'll love this book
I finished this book in one straight shot and found myself annoyed by anyone calling me or messaging me, subsequently interrupting, no matter how urgent the message. Tucker's wit and comedic timing shine through and make this an absolute pleasure to listen to and I was glad he narrated it himself. I didn't agree with everything in it, but honestly would have been disappointed if I had, knowing it would mean I've fallen prey to ideology rather than empiricism. That being said, even the points of disagreement I found interesting and thought provoking. He easily and quickly expounds the way our world seems to be loosing its grip on reality. Also nice to hear was his bipartisan stance, he calls our Republicans when it is diligent to do so. Definitely a great books, and I won't be surprised if I find myself listening to it a second or even third time!

Regardless whether not all 100% of the information in this book is uncolored by bias, or whether all is 100% factual, you cannot walk away from this book (still) believing (IF you did so before), that Tucker has not anything but sincere regard for the wellbeing of the US - its society, its environment & its citizens!

Absolutely Recommend Listening!
If you ever get that gut feeling that something isn’t quite right in today’s society - be it political agendas, gender topics, climate change, right vs left etc. - this book will surely offer clarity.
It was so refreshing to listen to such a well-written account of what’s going on in the world. Tucker is very honest, succinct, and isn’t afraid to tell it how it is.
He doesn’t go on long meandering rants about his personal opinions which is very nice. He lays out information and creates clear arguments for what the evidence shows. I’m very glad we have people willing to put in the time and do the research to tie things together like this.
Get to it!

Read if you want to hear about how ridiculous the ruling elite are
. I rarely read or listen to non-fiction books on the political climate of America. I get my news left, right and center and try to find the truth. I’m not a regular watcher of Fox nor CNN. Truthfully I listen to talk radio (from NPR to KFI). I found myself, as a moderate (and a scientist) agreeing with basically every single element of this book. I’m now looking for an article that tries to find reasons to disagree.
Overall his voice played well in the car and in headphones during runs. It was the right tempo without having to speed it up or slow it down. The writing was straight forward and yes, I laughed, gasped, hit my steering wheel and yelled with agreement while running, driving, making dinner, washing dishes, and cleaning the house. I have recommend this book to my friends and family. My 18 year old son even loved listening one night while I cooked. It sparked a great 45 minute dinner conversation. Thank you Tucker Carlson.

Not what I expected!
Tucker Carlson hit it out of the park with this book. I’m a independent voter. I could careless about either major party. This book really points the fingers at who/what’s to blame for Trump, and how things are not going to get better unless we have change, and change is not what our ruling class wants. The ruling class is not who you expected and politicians are the puppets. Great read!
