All he knows is she's a problem. Who is this women opening a cafe across the street from his family business?? Beckett is very driven and solves everyone's problems. Right now his hippy parents have a big problem. His dad has been arrested for fraud and his mother is no where to be found and it's up to him to figure things out. He hasn't been home for a long time but he has a business to save and family that needs taking care of.
Sunny is the little sister of Beckett's best friend. The last time she was seen by Beckett she was little and with all her health issues the boys had never been very nice to her. She was always quiet but this new version of Sunny, the confident, strong, independent woman, Beckett has no idea what he's in store for!
Sunny and her friends open a cafe up in the town of Friendship, her hometown where she never thought she'd ever move back to. However, when she wins the old bait shop in a poker game, it gives them the perfect opportunity to make something new and fun for the town.
Beckett and Sunny have daily run-ins where they argue and as time goes on, they become a little more of a love to fight scenario. Sunny and her friends seem to run into a lot of bad luck and Beckett always seems to come to the rescue.
Lots of great, unexpected moments in this book! Can't wait for the next one!
