Sidroc is a real man - his strength, his character just oozes through the pages. A book ell worth listening to. I have just so enjoyed this series.

What a delight it is to delve into Sidroc's back story and even to go into the history of his parents. I feel so immersed in the story and descriptors of era that I am transported into Sidroc's world and journey from birth to becoming a viking raider to seek out a life of his own.

This is a prequel to the Circle of Ceridwen Saga but you do not need to read the saga to dive into this book, you won't be disappointed and I'm sure you'll be reaching for book 1 of the saga afterwards.
