New York Times best-selling author Tina Folsom presents: Silent Bite - A Scanguards Wedding, Scanguards Vampires 8½.
Newbie vampire Oliver and Ursula, the woman he saved from a blood brothel, are finally tying the knot. But with Ursula's old-fashioned Chinese parents arriving in town for the traditional wedding, chaos soon breaks out - with Oliver always one step away from accidentally revealing to his soon-to-be in-laws that he and his extended Scanguards family are vampires. And amid all the chaos and confusion, a stalker lurks and threatens to tear Ursula and Oliver apart before they can blood-bond.

Great story to fill the wait between novels.
What could be better than a Vampire Wedding?
In this novella we get to see the wedding of Oliver and Ursula. The two had quite the beginning to their relationship. Oliver had saved Ursula from a blood brothel and Ursula had saved Oliver from blood lust. There were a lot of bumps in the road in the beginning, but they finally got their HEA.
In this story they are preparing for their wedding. It's a wedding filled with Chinese traditions and lots of superstitions. Ursula and Oliver try everything they can to keep the truth of the vampires and Ursula's captivity from her parents. Regardless of all their efforts, things don't go exactly as planned.
I really enjoyed this filler story while I wait for the next. The Scanguards Vampire series has everything you could want in a paranormal romance novel. It has hot vampires, sassy women, witches, hybrids, true love, danger, intrigue, and a few unexpected thrills. I loved this series and hope you do too.
The narrator did a fantastic job bringing this story to life. Well done to both the author and the narrator.

Interesting Vampire Rules
This book was okay, but i think since I read it as a stand alone novella, I didn't enjoy it as much as i might have if I had read the whole series. Some of the vampire rules in this world were interesting and I would consider reading more books in this series. This was my first book narrated by Eric G. Dove I think I may need to listen to more to determine if he gets put into my regular narrator rotation.
