À propos de cet audio

Not since C.S. Lewis’s Mere Christianity has such a wise and informed leader taken the time to explain what Christianity is and how it is practiced. In Simply Christian, renowned biblical scholar and Anglican bishop N.T. Wright makes a case for Christianity from the ground up. Walking the reader through the Christian faith step-by-step and question by question, Wright’s Simply Christian offers explanations for even the toughest doubt-filled skeptics, leaving believers with a reason for renewed faith.

I greatly enjoyed this book about being Christian and applying the heart of the gospel to every area of life.

Fantastic book!

This is a great book to start with if one is unfamiliar with either Wright's work or Christianity as a whole. Several parts explain the different paradigms created from centuries of folks wrestling with Jesus's words.

Very memorable

It’s probably that I missed the point of the author’s work, but I was looking for a book that would help reconcile Christianity with the historical problems of early Christians and the gospels. This book basically just did what any religious book would do which is to assume all of the gospels and writings are accurate and legitimate historical documents. I also had a problem with the condemning of sexuality, and homosexuality in particular.

Disappointed
