Jacob is an amazing author and narrator. I really related to this book on a personal level. I wasn't quite ready for it to finish and wish I could listen to their gender non conforming content all day.

While clearly intelligent and hard working, Jacob is stuck in a complete victim mindset and seems incapable of taking responsibility for any failures. Everything seems to be society’s fault and the onus is always on somebody else to make them feel relevant and adored. It seems that everything good and bad boils down only to gender and I find the premise ridiculous and incomplete. I’m glad I listened to get a sense of their perspective, but I found the perspective narcissistic, bitter and unconvincing.
