I’m enjoy Dohner’s books. The narration was disappointing for main characters. At times Trisha was made out to sound like a valley girl not a highly intelligent doctor. Slade was made out to be a crass jerk. The narrator was able to make other characters to sound more interesting than Slade and Trisha. It’s the only reason I’m willing to give further books a chance. I really wish authors held higher standards for who tries to bring their characters to life. I’m giving one more book a chance. I have had to avoid certain series just because of the narrator. It’s bad enough if one book is messed up but a whole series. Don’t bother doing audible if you can’t find a decent narrator!
