My 7 year old loves these books so far. As a long time Goosebumps fan, I personally find Slappy's voice in the little narrated parts to be so annoying and just not right. But my child doesn't seem to mind it at all. There are random cuts in the story of Slappy talking to the reader, but my child seemed to enjoy those parts.

the overall story is good 👍 so if the voice annoys you or your child maybe try thr physical book or ebook if they enjoy reading that way. if not Goosebumps Horrorland series is one my child loved! And listens to over and over again.
