Publisher's Summary
"[Thayne's] books are wonderfully romantic, feel-good reads that end with me sighing over the last pages." (Debbie Macomber, number one New York Times best-selling author)
Celebrate the season with this sparkling and heartwarming holiday romance that proves sometimes all you need is a little Christmas magic....
Angel’s View Ranch has always been special to Annelise McCade. Once upon a time, it was her family’s land, until her grandfather sold it to billionaire Wallace Sheridan. Now employed as the live-in caretaker, Annie is just trying to make it through the holidays with both her sanity and her niece's and nephew’s faith in the magic of Christmas intact.
The six-year-old twins recently lost their mother, so Annie tells herself it wouldn’t be a problem to bring them to Angel’s View. Why should it be? The Sheridans haven’t visited in years, not since Wallace died. They would never know the twins were there...until Tate Sheridan shows up out of the blue two weeks before Christmas.
Crushed to learn that Tate is there to sell his grandfather’s property - and mortified that her secret guests have been discovered - Annie offers her resignation. But Tate asks them to stay and help him get the house ready for one last family Christmas before it’s put on the market.
Annie and Tate have three days to work their magic before the Sheridan clan arrives - and to work through the growing attraction between them. But Annie simply can’t fall for the man who will put her out of a job and a home. Still, the sparkle of the season is impossible to deny...and this Christmas has surprises in store for everyone.

Terrible narration
I think maybe the story would have been enjoyable, but this narrator was so bad she ruined it for me. She talks with valley-girl-esque uptick- like everything the characters said sounded like a question? And all the dialogue was done with odd overdramatic tone and inflection, often making it sound like the characters were being sarcastic.
I thought about quitting the book right away, but I hung on through to the end to see if the story would redeem the bad narration. It didn’t. The whole thing was super predictable. Which might have been ok for a sappy Christmas romance if only it were more enjoyable to listen to.

Tearful in the most beautiful way!
I loved this story so much it had hope romance and conflict. I loved that this highlighted how grief can push us into the wrong direction and how with support that can turn around. I cried through many parts of this book so much so that my husband worried that I continued to read it. 5 Stars for sure!

cheesey but enjoyable
I don't read too many of these romances, but I did enjoy it. It was basically clean which is the reason I don't read many romances, too much gross stuff. I enjoyed the narrator. I would probably listen to another book by this author during the holidays.

A heartwarming story!
Annelise McCade is back at Angel’s View Ranch after a decade away, hired in as caretaker. She’s moved back to Wyoming to help her widowed brother after a series of bad choices lands him in jail with no one to care for his six-year-old twins. It doesn’t seem like a problem to have the twins stay with her at the sprawling ranch since the Sheridan’s rarely visit. However, with the passing of Wallace, the Sheridan’s patriarch, and they all descend with plans to scatter his ashes at the place he loved most.
Without advance warning of the family’s visit there’s no time to hire in more help and so Annelise and Tate Sheridan, her childhood crush and new Sheridan leader, band together to accommodate and care for his extended family. Tate, Annelise and the twins scramble to turn Angel’s View Ranch into a welcoming Christmas getaway to ease some of the grief they all feel with Wallace’s death. Annelise as a young girl crushed on Tate when he’d come visit over the Summers while growing up, and those feelings come back stronger than ever as they work together.
Tate and his family endured the loss of his father in a horseback riding accident on the Ranch years back. Visiting brought back all the grief, so Tate, his sister and mother just stopped visiting. Coming back for his grandfather’s service gives his family a chance to face the past, heal wounds and overcome the guilt they’ve felt. Having Annelise’s help and support is everything and Tate’s finds himself falling for her a little more with every moment they spend together.
Sleigh Bells Ring was a heartwarming story with not one, but two romances! Annelise’s twin niece and nephew were adorable, and there were plenty of winter wonderland activities that filled me with joy! While there is romance, I feel like there was a lot more going on. I enjoyed the imperfect journey of all the characters. Healing after guilt and grief with the support of family and friends was a central focus making for an uplifting, lovely holiday story! Definite Hallmark Movie vibes here!
Enjoyed the audio performance. Stacy Gonzalez did well with all the voices.
