I really enjoyed this book. I was laughing out loud. It was funny and sweet with a bit of action.

For context, I have always been obsessed with dinosaurs. I ALSO love queer books. Was this series made for me? ME THINKS YES.

I'm going to present this in a tidy numbered list about what I loved in this book because I could go on forever.

1. Paleontologist MC who has my literal DREAM JOB working at a museum. I related to how nerdy he could get when talking about dinosaurs.

2. Fossil heist! I loved that all the shenanigans were over a fossil.

3. THE SCIENCY STUFF! I wasn't expecting to learn actual scientific facts from this book, but I was pleasantly surprised. Ex: the shifters all having a code name from the formations in which each of their species was discovered 🥺.

4. Rebellious punk shifter falls for a nerdy certified good boy

5. The two cuties bonding over their love for Land Before Time after one seeing the other's tree star tattoo

6. THAT ENDING 😭❤️


Even though the plot sounded silly, this one really surprised me. 1000/10 will be listening to the next one.

If you enjoy a good (light) action Rom-Com with humour, dino facts, and cheesy villains, check out this audiobook! I laughed quite a bit and had a smile on my face through it all. Ridiculous premise, but who cares? b/c seriously dino shifters and a meet cute involving a fossil heist! I look forward to book 2!

I really enjoyed the dynamics in this book. the characters were enjoyable and relatable in lots of ways. I really loved the banter between our MCs. Even the science aspect was well done and fun to learn. The narration was really good and I enjoyed their voice abilities.
