Wow... just wow! The Plot Thickens!

Talk about a cliffhanger.... I really hate the thought of waiting another year to find out what happens next with The Perfect Gentlemen and their wives! Roman and Gus are sexy and explosive. It’s nice to get a few more pieces to this intricate puzzle and the backstory as well.

Lots of intrigue, but this was also an emotional ride. I really love how seamlessly Black and Blake weave these couples into the overlying thriller that runs from the first book until now- with virtually no plot holes. Each player is described in such detail, from the inside out, they come alive , and it’s so easy to become invested in these relationships. These are definitely not stand alones-you have to start at the beginning-and it’s time well spent.

The dialogue is fantastic, though sometimes during the action I felt like Roman and Gus were each in their own heads just a little bit too much. The sexual chemistry between these two is off the charts, and when they get together it’s intimate,erotic, and all consuming. I got all the feels.

One of the things I love about these books & this couple is that they are adults-in their late 30’s, have made mistakes, are still falling in love, still sexy, confident, mature enough to work things through, take responsibility for their choices, willing to take risks emotionally.....eventually.

This is truly a sophisticated, witty, twisted, suspenseful, mysterious, romantic, erotic, political thriller. It was worth the wait and definitely everything I anticipated and more. I couldn’t put it down! I need more!!!!

Greg Boudreaux nailed the narration of this, he did the women’s voices and the occasional accent with ease- even differentiating between English/British accents and maintained southern accents making the characters easily identifiable.

Absolutely worth the credit or cash, and I will be listening again-I think I might even have to start at book 1 and listen to them all again now that I have more of the story! These never get old!

I’m going to try and be patient for the next installment of The Perfect Gentlemen......❤️

Have loved all of the books in this series but this one was my favorite! So much fun and suspense and as usual, very sexy, and right now I am just hoping that the next and I suspect last book in the series will not be too far behind.

Sex was everything

This story started out really good, but as always, sex rule the H and h. How can a woman accept shallow man who broke her heart. I never understood these authors who wrote women as a doormat. These authors made the women to be strong. However, when it comes to “ dick” they turn out to be weak. This story was just that! Wow! Soooo sad that the writers just can’t make strong heroine. They always end up like a doormat. Sooo sooo sad! If you love sex that rule heartbreak, this one is for you!

This man did everything he could to disrespect & humiliate this woman & she just kept coming back for more. The mysteries involving the president & the murder were interesting but the love story was crap.

OMG THIS IS GREAT YOU WILL LOVE IT

This is one is better then the other 2 but I can not wait to get to the last one that was so mean at the end now I have to wait a year . this book made me sad made me lol it had a little of everything in it and the sex was hot.

Great Series!

Very intense, intriguing with some great passionate love scenes. I’m a Big Lexi Blake fan and Shayla Black is now my favorite Duo. I will definitely be looking forward to more Stories from this dynamic duo. Characters are Wonderful and well developed. Narrator was Awesome. I had a hard time putting this down. I listened to both books. Superb listen. Thank you ladies for an awesome story♥️

Loving this series!!

Love this series! I didn't feel like the narrator was in character with the subjects for instance Augustus is from Louisiana, there wasn't even a hint of an accent. And Roman sounded whiny. That's why I have a 3 star for performance.

Did I hear the same story all the rave reviewers did?

This book is nothing like the previous ones. It was basically just a bunch of boring conversations and inner monologues between 2 selfish stubborn bullheaded jerks that hear the opposite of what each says. I was ready to quit after the first hour. It doesn’t even get interesting until half way through, only to return to the boring conversations again. The ending is surprising and hopefully the next book is more entertaining.

What an awesome series. So many twists, turns and espionage! I adored the story of each perfect gentleman. I have 1 book left and I’m already mourning the end of this well done series.we’ll done to the authors and narrator!

Great story... loved it ❤️

Story about reunited lovers... separated not in good terms. Will the past haunt the future... of course it will.. 😆

Sounds like a simple story but it's not; that's what makes it great.

The narration is just perfect. 🥰 makes the book worth keeping.

This is a great standalone book too. Don't miss out. Enjoy!!
