Publisher's Summary

The city of Haven Hart rests under the heel of Christopher Manos. He reigns over the most dangerous and deadliest citizens as the most powerful crime boss the city has seen in generations. Yet, for the last five years, the harshest edges of his nature have been tempered by the loving devotion of his husband, Snow, and the nephew Christopher adores like a son. His life is a balance of darkness and light until a birthday trip for his nephew, Simon, is interrupted by a hail of bullets and explosions, threatening to destroy it all.

Snow has found a home, a family, and the love of one of Haven Hart's most powerful men. When Christopher and Simon are kidnapped, Snow risks everything to find his family. Utilizing specialized skills he learned on the streets and the finer points of running a city from his crime boss husband, Snow takes on roles he never dreamed he would-protector, leader, and avenger. No one threatens his family and lives. Experienced enough to know he can't do this alone, Snow calls in every favor he is owed, risking his life promising favors in return, all to save his family and the man he loves.

Fantastic Wrap up of a Stunning series

5 Blue Roses
4.5 Blue Flames

Dual narrators Philip Alces and Joel Leslie hit this series superbly well out of the ballpark. Their performances were well rounded and they complimented each other. So much so, the dramatic tension and vulnerable moments were never lost between handover in this exceptional contemporary romance.
The cover is stunning and attention grabbing, Snow is portrayed exactly like the book describes him. I enjoyed looking at it while I listened to the audiobook.
Authors, should try to include pictures of their main characters in a link in their publisher summaries. I'm sure listeners would like to have visual references beyond the cover alone.

The plot was creatively laid out. It was perfect, I did not find any holes in the story line. It was wrapped up nicely with all the previous characters appearing and assisting Snow and his family by overcoming and winning the foothold over Haven Hart.
The bloody gruesome scenes and executions were extremely realistic, it felt like I was watching a blockbuster mafia movie.
I absolutely recommend this book, but it should be listened to in reading order as the author intended to fully enjoy and immerse yourself in the story of Haven Hart.

Happy Listening.

Superb Superb Superb.

This entire series was absolutely Superb. So much so, that I am re-listing to it again from the very start. Davidson King is a beast with his writing, creating characters, and stories. What a gift. Along with the narration of Philip Alces + Joel Leslie, phenomenal. I love the way DK continued to incorporate each character into the next story. I hope and pray🙏that someway somehow DK continue this series. With his talent, I know he can. Because I certainly will be sad😒 if this is the end. If your searching for a amazing series to listen to, I definitely definitely recommend you search no further and start here.👇

Loved it!

I love Snow and Christopher so much and the narrators did a really great job. I can’t wait to find out what happens next I may actually have to read the books instead of waiting for the audio. Of course I’ll be getting the audios too, this is one of the few series that I like to listen to again and again. The dual narration was so seamless that I didn’t actually realize it was narrated by two people until the end when it announces their names. Love it, recommend it, will continue to love it.

Need More Snow?

This is the story that will give it to you.

Snow works with more "Bosses", including the reclusive Poe, to find his kidnapped husband and nephew. Snow promises retribution to those foolish enough to face off with his husband, Christopher Manos. And promises a lifetime of gratitude to the families who rally to help find his missing family members.

This welcome installment to the Haven Hart series will answer some questions, and bring forth more. Although it is part of a series, it is not necessary to have read prior books to enjoy this one.

Narrators Philip Alces and Joel Leslie are fabulous together.

as good as the ebook

The story is always 4 or 5 stars, because if I wouldn't like the story as ebook, I wouldn't listen to the audiobook.

The performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. It took me a little bit, to come into the narrator, but at the end, it worked. I only have to take a few breaks between. I'm just not yet finish with the book, but I listen enough to give a review.

PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!!

To my ratings:

5* - very very good
it's like an A+

4* - very good and will be often re-listening
it's like an A

3* - it's more then a one-time-listening.
it's like a B

Loved catching up with Snow and Christopher

I loved seeing length Snow would go to for those he loves and how much Chris has grown in expressing his feelings. Joel and Philip do a wonderful job of narrating the characters. Haven Hart series is a must read/listen.
