À propos de cet audio

From USA Today and Amazon Charts best-selling author Meghan Quinn, and narrated in duet by Aaron Shedlock and Stella Hunter, comes a fresh take on a romantic-comedy classic, When Harry Met Sally. This steamy, laugh-out-loud enemies-to-lovers romance is about an annoyingly handsome coworker and the woman who refuses to be charmed by him.

Am I friends with JP Cane?

Ha! That's laughable.

Besides the fact that he’s adopted some far-fetched notion from the movie When Harry Met Sally that says men and women can't be friends and work together, it’s safe to say we're not friends. He's annoyingly loud, obnoxiously handsome, and has made an art out of poking all my hot buttons...multiple times a day.

So you can imagine how disgruntled I am when I not only have to fly to San Francisco with him for work, but stay in the same penthouse. Yup, we're sharing the same air, 24-7. We're talking full-fledged working roommates.

The man doesn't know what it means to wear a shirt, thrives off protein bars, and you guessed it, moans loud enough for people to believe he's Meg Ryan in a restaurant.

Spoiler Alert: I WON'T be having what he's having.

Tack on his continuous flirting and his polished good looks, and I'm caught staring down the barrel of a seductive temptation that makes it hard for me to sleep at night.

But guess who can control herself? This girl.

Because if there is one thing I know for certain, it's that JP Cane and I are so not meant to be.

Great character, loved the narrators voices. It was funny in parts. I’d read it again. Well worth the credit spent!!

Highly entertaining love story

Kelsey had her insecurities that got to be a bit too much sometimes and was also judgemental of JP who made it his mission to get under her skin any chance he could get. But JP was such a sweetheart and a great leading man that it greatly made up for Kelsey’s annoying qualities. His tendency to donate to a pigeon rescue when he got drunk was endearing and funny and I loved the “When Harry Met Sally” references woven into the story. There’s even a hilarious role-reversed restaurant scene in the story that had me laughing out loud. JP was attentive and the pain he felt when Kelsey went on dates with other men broke my heart and made me fall in love with the fictional man even more.

The duo narration matched perfectly to each character and did a great job enhancing the story.

A funny romcom that activates a melting heart and turns up the heat, So Not Meant to Be is an endearing novel that I won’t soon forget about.

An endearing spicy romcom

I liked it but didn’t love it. The FMC was a bit annoying and immature.

Not as good as the first book

Book: So Not Meant To Be
Author: Meghan Quinn
Rating: 4.5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I'm so glad I finally picked up the second one in this series!

This was a true enemies to lovers .. where the FMC doesn't really know why she dislikes the MMC as much as she does. A lot of misconceptions over the MMC take place, which is why I am so happy this one had a dual POV.

There is hilarious banter between all of the characters, so many LOL moments, and once the slow burn ends .. it's on 🔥

You get:
• Contemporary Romance
• Spicy
• Enemies To Lovers
• Coworkers
• Forced Proximity
• He Falls First & Harder
• Never Been Like This

I can't wait to read the last one! Available on KU, ebook, paperback, and audiobook.

Kelsey seemed so level headed in Lotties story i was excited to read this, but her characters is a complete let down. she is so childish and insecure, even though megan tried to paint it as cute, and meant for us to feel sympathy for her, it only comes up as pathetic. I am all for addressing insecurities, but hers don't come up as genuine. she uses her insecurities to play Victim so much it's extremely annoying and at time completely obnoxious. she sets herself up for failure by dating the wrong guys, ignores red flags because they are "nice guys" base on her perception of a nice guy, and then whines about it when they disappoint her. and the man that actually pays attention to her she puts him down based on her own assumptions or idea she conjured up in her head.
then finally after they get together she acts like a complete lunatic when he doesn't want to have sex with her one time!! when she is drunk and the guy was actually going thru a crisis, men sometimes can be "not in the mood", but she doesn't understand that at all and goes off making assumptions again. she never addresses her own idiotic reaction of just lashing out. in her sister wedding no less. it was not even about the article or the email?! the big third act drama. nope it's about the rejection when she was too drunk to read the room.
it doesn't make her endearing when she is "trying to figure her insecurities out", for two weeks, where she completely ignores him, letting him wallow in his pain, which is load a doodoo imo. if JP did what she did after that one night of rejection, people will be calling him names but the girl does it that's excusable?
and then he has to win her back, even tho she is the one that pushed him away? I love Megan's stories and the characters frustrate me sometimes but this girl takes the cake. she is so unlikeable.

FMC was.... pathetic sad to say but it's true
