À propos de cet audio
No wrong moves.
Those were the words the first boy I ever loved whispered in my ear on graduation weekend.
Naively, I believed him. Now those three little words feel like a bad omen I can’t escape.
Every move I’ve made since I returned to South Chapel hurts my ex-boyfriend, Greedy. But it’s for his benefit. That’s what I tell myself. Intentionally hurting him is for the best.
It has to be. I said goodbye to the possibility of forever with him the moment my mom and his dad “introduced us” at their engagement dinner.
Three years have passed, but that doesn’t matter to Greedy. He’s hell-bent on making sure I remember it all.
On my darkest nights, the memories win. Since his bedroom is just two doors down, he’s the anchor I seek when it all feels like too much.
But now Greedy’s best friend is back in town, and he and I are “dating” to get his meddling mother off his back. Not only is Levi my new fake boyfriend, but he’s also our new roommate too.
No wrong moves, Greedy assured me years ago.
What if there are no right moves either?
So Wrong is the first book in the Boys of South Chapel series. It is a steamy second chance why choose romance. A full list of tropes and triggers can be found on the author’s website.

Greedy was the only character I actually cared about. He loved deeply, lost the girl, and spent years waiting for her to come back. He gives endlessly while others take, and while that does make him a bit of a doormat, he at least has redeeming qualities and emotional depth.
I liked Levi for most of the book—until I didn’t. When your best friend admits he’s still in love with the girl and you hook up with her anyway, then act nonchalant about it, that’s a big no for me. While Levi shows up for Hunter, he consistently fails to prioritize his friendship with Greedy, which made his role as a “main” supporting character feel more frustrating than meaningful.
As for Hunter… I struggled a lot. The self-pity only worked for so long. Three years of self-sabotage, pushing Greedy away only to offer crumbs of affection, and then brushing it off was exhausting. Asking both men to help her “forget,” only to later tell Greedy it was a mistake, was the final straw. Yes, her mother is awful—but at some point, accountability matters. She’s an adult.
The constant push and pull, secrecy, and poor decision-making made this a tough read. Ending on a cliffhanger—and realizing it will take three more books to reach a conclusion that will likely prioritize Hunter’s happiness while everyone else compromises—didn’t help.
If I’m going to be emotionally tormented, I at least want the spice to deliver. Unfortunately, it didn’t. The intimate scenes felt forced, awkward, and lacked the payoff I was hoping for.
I’m undecided on whether I’ll continue the series, but if I do, it definitely won’t be anytime soon.
