A little wordy

Not bad for sure, but there is quite a lot of battle descriptions that obviously just make up a word count. Parts read more like an action movie stunt script, which does nothing for the atmosphere or story.

this book has decent pacing, an interesting premise. it's a tasty treat that isn't too heavy.
