Lily is a photojournalist in search of the “animal people” who supposedly haunt the city’s darkest slums. Hank is a slumdweller who knows the bad streets all too well. I love all of Charles DeLint’s stories. I love the Newford characters. I would love to see all of the horror stories originally published under the other name he used on here. I wish all of his books were on here. I always enjoy Kate Readings narration as well.

great book, lovely characters, so interesting. feels a little cringe at times but its forgivable, bc the overall feeling of the book and the story are awesome. love love love you Kate Reading, I wish you could voice all the books I wanna listen to, incredible performance and the most pleasant listening experience I've had in forever. <3
