Publisher's Summary

New York Times best-selling author Wendy Corsi Staub is back with the second in her critically acclaimed cozy mystery series.

After agreeing to stay in Lily Dale through the winter as caretakers of the Valley View Guesthouse and its feline residents, widowed mom Bella Jordan and her son, Max, are looking forward to the peaceful off-season after a hectic summer. That is until the medium next door, Odelia Lauder, recruits Bella to host a destination wedding for the world's most petulant bride, Johneen Maynard, a friend of Odelia's granddaughter.

Things take an even more stressful turn as the wedding day looms amid an October blizzard, when suddenly the spirits start giving Odelia a major heads up that the bride might be fated for death. And when the prediction comes true just as the storm begins to break, Bella finds herself trapped in a house full of murder suspects.

It's a race to figure out who killed Johneen - and what clever murder weapon made it appear to be natural causes - before the killer catches on in Something Buried, Something Blue.

Classic murder mystery

A destination wedding was a vacation from the humdrum of my day. Love that I changed my mind about who the bad guy was. Will be looking for more titles from Wendy Corsi Staub.

Cute mystery!

I thought Something Buried, Something Blue was a cute mystery, set in a quaint town of people who thought differently, but cared for each other. This story seemed to refer a lot back to a previous one - in fact, the title said it was Book 2 of the Lily Dale Mysteries - but I have not been able to find Book 1, which I would like to have done. I enjoyed its delving into the paranormal and those who read her mind. Melanie Ewbank did an admirable job narrating, and I would enjoy passing away another weekend listening to another Wendy Corsi Staub novel⁰

Absolutely dreadful

I tried so hard to finish it but gave up chapter 10.
What a bore! And so drawn out and all over the place.

hard to finish

I kept waiting to care, the narration seemed strained, the story itself was mediocre, the invented character names were so ridiculous, to the point of being annoyed with every mention.
