About this listen
Finally going from fake boyfriends to the real thing, Spencer Cohen and Andrew Landon are trying to take things slow. They know what they have could be something special, and despite the flammable sexual tension, they don't want to crash and burn.
Spencer is learning to open up and share the secrets of his past with Andrew. Afraid to put his heart on the line but unable to stop himself, Spencer knows he's falling in love. Andrew is petrified of leaping in blindly, yet the slower they go, the faster they fall.
As they navigate their new relationship, Spencer worries Andrew will freak out when he takes on a new client. But it's not a normal case, and Spencer soon realizes all is not what it seems. When the job takes a downward turn, Spencer and Andrew work together to help the client. They'll need to decide if they're ready for the next step.
Contains mature themes.

We don’t get a ton of relationship development with Spencer and Andrew, but it’s not a very long time period. Feelings come up but don’t get discussed much together. I found the “I hate you. No you don’t. No I don’t,” went on a little long for me.
I enjoyed learning more about Andrew’s family and was super invested in Yanni and his wellbeing.
Figuring out how to actually be together… and amateur sleuthing

This trilogy is ONE book.
The story flows from the first word in the first book to the last word in the third book, has an overall arc, and a satisfying conclusion for our two heroes. The problem is, that it's in three parts and sold separately. I wouldn't be so upset if each novel had a good rounded story, and some kind of satisfying conclusion that would let me sigh with contentment when I put the book down, but there just wasn't.
Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against ending novels in suspense or series' featuring the same couple (I've read and loved many of them), but this series is not three separate stories in which you get to see a couple grow closer together (etc), it's *one* story. I'm afraid to say, that if you want to read the couple's full story (which IS rather adorable and heartwarming), you'll have to buy all three books and read them one-after-the-other as though they're one long book.
Cute, But Only Part 2 Of A Single Story

It was so refreshing to have actual communication and real talk throughout the whole book, between characters. ( no spoilers but the troupe that was mentioned, and how it was described....for real I'm with you Spencer). I've really enjoyed the sense of growth, support and foundation building between them both.
A book with actual communication between characters
