Publisher's Summary

I ate six seeds. Now I owe six months of debt to a dangerously sexy Fae hitman.

I'd had everything a dryad could want - a job, an apartment, and a scandalous human boyfriend-

Until I stole the wrong fruit from the wrong Fae.

Dragged into the Seelie underworld of deception and lies, I do anything he commands: steal, spy, even fight as we hunt down a notorious Fae fugitive.

Not exactly the fun I was looking for, despite the intense attraction between us. Between my new boss, the cold-as-ice Unseelie fixer, and a gorgeous Wild Hunter, I'm pulled into a world where danger is the only guarantee.

But when the mission ends, I may not want to leave.

Contains mature themes.

Good “beach read” weight story

I quite like the world that is created here, although I think it takes a bit to get started.

From the perspective of a lesser fae, we learn about a world with class distinction between humans and fae and high fae. The tension between these groups is central to the series plot.

Our Heroine is blackmailed into helping solve a mystery- but one she cares deeply about. It’s critical that she solve this case.

While solving the case she learns more about herself and is introduced to three intriguing males as well along the way.

The story kept my attention easily, its not too complex (No Sara J Maas or Jennifer Armentrout here) it’s more like a beach-read.

Enjoyable, light, what’s not to like?

Not book “boyfriend material” but you’ll want to pick up the next 2 books for sure. (Make sure you can get them before buying this one)
