At the beginning, this book had me hooked. The performance was excellent, and really made the book come alive for me. Unfortunately the book kind of lost me in the middle, and didn't develop the romances almost at all, leaving me feeling unsatisfied at the end.

Loved it. Two stories intertwined. Brilliant imagery. Excellent narration and characterization. Complicated plotline. The many voices sometimes made the story confusing .
