The conflict is compelling and the humor fun and enjoyable.
An excellent listen for anyone who likes love, romance and drama.

I think I would have enjoyed it more if I was into Game of Thrones which is clearly the fandom that novel's "the God the Gates" fiction is based on.
It does read like fanfiction though. Not a deficiency, I found it quite fun.
