I enjoyed their romance and the path (for the most part) that it took to get to their HEA. Darren is swoon-worthy. Book boyfriend!!! I loved his son; some of the sweetest and most heart-wrenching moments in this book involve Darren’s son. The secondary characters added to the fabric of the story. A couple of characters from other books made cameos or were mentioned. I love the speakeasy and when scenes take place there. I was hoping for more from the climatic event and it’s aftermath than what we got.
I enjoyed the audio version of this book and the narrators – they did a great job.
