Publisher's Summary

Ever since last year's homecoming dance, best friends-turned-best enemies Zorie and Lennon have made an art of avoiding each other. It doesn't hurt that their families are the modern day, Californian version of the Montagues and Capulets.

But when a group camping trip goes south, Zorie and Lennon find themselves stranded in the wilderness. Alone. Together. What could go wrong?

With no one but each other for company, Zorie and Lennon have no choice but to hash out their issues via witty jabs and insults as they try to make their way to safety. But fighting each other while also fighting off the forces of nature makes getting out of the woods in one piece less and less likely.

And as the two travel deeper into Northern California's rugged backcountry, secrets and hidden feelings surface. But can Zorie and Lennon's rekindled connection survive out in the real world? Or was it just a result of the fresh forest air and the magic of the twinkling stars?

Cute read!!

I was intrigued by this book, it sounded really good and I was right! This book is super adorable, with a good mix of teen angst thrown in. It had a few curveballs are thrown in I didn't see coming but overall I super enjoyable book. I really enjoyed Zorie and Lennon's chemistry throughout the book. They actually seemed down the earth and like real teens, unlike other books they make them seen to grown-up. Yes, the book does touch on some more adult issues and some parts are not meant for young ears but if you can get past that you're golden! I really enjoyed the whole backpacking/ camping aspect of the story, which made me want to go backpacking through the woods right now! honestly give this book a chance, its a cute, fun YA read!

Really cute book

Second time reading This is such a cute read. Zorie is a fun main character, even though I was like "Lennon is right in front of you, talk to him!" lol. Lennon is a great guy and I felt bad for all he went through. Their wilderness journey had a couple rough parts and I never would've made it through, but it definitely helped Zorie sort out her feelings and be stronger. The audiobook was well done and the pacing on this is great

Not a very appro book for YA

The characters in weren't very realistic, nor setting realistic standards for true love. Lots of sexual content, way more than needed, and cheapened the romance in the end. The main lead boy can do no wrong, while her father can do nothing right. Every character in the story is either really, really good or evil, stupid, with nothing in between? Not realistic nor enough flushing out characters to say the least. Lead girl is way too neurotic, stupid and slutely, to be likeable. Dialog was often annoying as a result. Read Wild, by Cheryl Strade if you want a good adventure in the outdoors. She's atleast fun. This book just left me cold.

An addictive and Romantic Read!

This was exactly what I needed! A sweet, quick, meaningful read! Zory and Lennon were awesome characters separately, but together, they are relationship goals! The family drama was interesting as well. I don’t like the outdoors, but this setting brought so much to the story! I’m in love with this book! Everyone should read!
