Summary

One man's epic story of loyalty, perseverance, and hope in a galaxy at war. Now in a single volume.

Alliance Navy Commander Grayson Stone is patrolling a nearby space station when a mysterious starship appears. It emerges from a storm of fire, its shields impenetrable, its weapons overwhelming, attacking without provocation and annihilating everything in its path.

While his ship is badly damaged in the assault, Grayson manages to survive. Suddenly trapped behind the front line of the invasion, faced with gut-wrenching choices and near-impossible odds, he'll do whatever it takes to escape the grasp of the terrifying new enemy. Because if he fails, humankind will fall.

it us like having a glass.... dropping and breaking the glass and then carefully piecing it back together. very well written. great plot twists.... very creative.

Not a bad book over all. The joining of two minds to pilot is a dumb idea. The rules are you can't pilot alone and only a very few special people are compatible with each other. The rules are broken right away because even as a story element it fails.

The amount of, "Oh no! Did that just happen? No it didn't." is irritating. It's not a twist, it's not suspenseful and it gets old really fast.

Not much new here.
