Narration leaves much to be desired.

I love this story. All of RA Salvatore's books are excellent. But I greatly wish that it was a different narrator. I don't care for the accents he tries, and am particularly not fond of the English accent he tries for Drizzt.

Great story if it jumps around a bit

The early part of this story has an issue with jumping around a tad too much being a story within a story within a story sometimes.

The overarching story is good, but the authors seem to over state and repeat things more than necessary. The ending also misses it's marl a bit by ending happily but if we're to believe what key characters say (known for lying with big reveal of a lie after big reveal of a lie) then the problem of the story continues.

The journey is a fun one and you get frustrated with the main character as they don't get straight answers and the ending didn't help that much. I'd like to hear more about the main characters journey afterward but I hope there's some more clear direction and verifiable outcomes than this story has.

This review isn't to dissuade. it helps tell auxiliary stories to main characters of the primary series within Forgotten Realms novels. There's just some revision I think could've made a big difference.
