Publisher's Summary

My crimes are legion. My sentence eternal.

Hell fractured my soul into dust and left me broken, yet I deserved so much worse.

Finally free from Lucifer’s torment, I must atone. But the lives I took and the pain I caused haunt me every day.

Half angel, half demon, but nowhere near whole.

Until I meet her.

I should not want Zoe Dawes, but she whispers her desires in my dreams and chases away my nightmares.

When an ancient evil returns, only I can stop him. But if I do, I risk losing everything - including the woman who reminds me what it is to feel. To live.

Zoe is mine. And nothing will keep us apart.

I work for the Bureau of the Occult and the Other. Zoe is my partner.

My name is Sinclair. But you can call me Sin.

Narrated by Maxine Mitchell and Jason Clarke.

Excellent!

Jason sizzles as the angsty, brooding, yummy Sin. Seriously, the man can do no wrong. 🤷‍♀️
And Maxine....Queen Maxine always NAILS it! 😍 This was a new to me author, and I am very glad I chose her! Looking forward to more Patricia Eddy! 😍😁

I need more!

ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS !!! So much so that i'm listening to it for a second time. It would be so great to see more books like this. Such great narrators as well. The two of them really brought this book to life for me.
I would highly recommend this book to others and hope to see more just like it soon. This would make a great series! And I am a sucker for HEA..

Beautifully narrated!

But also a great story. Patricia D. Eddy weaves a story of others and fate. I am totally a sucker for fated love stories.

Take a human detective whose partner dies under more than suspicious circumstances and then get a new job with an incubus partner. I was in from the first chapter!

I enjoyed Zoe and Sin’s volatile attraction both on the job and in bed, but their story woven in with centuries of torment and longing was amazing.

Jason Clarke and Maxine Mitchell both narrated this phenomenally. I just really enjoyed this story. Listening to it was just an added bonus.

Paranormal mind change

Typically I don’t enjoy paranormal stories but Eddy has out done herself. What an amazing cast of characters only highlighted more by the narrators. Wish there was more to their story!

Sinfully Wonderful Love Story

I 100% chose Storm of Sin by Patricia D Eddy because of the book cover and the narrators for the audiobook. And it was one of the best decisions I’ve made in a long time. The storyline is gripping and fast paced, the characters are amazing, and the narrators are beyond perfect.

Eddy created a love story with solid elements of suspense and an unusual take on a second chance romance. It’s PNR (paranormal romance) as PNR is meant to be—perfectly balanced on the line of reality and "the other", with serious steam, deep emotional connections, and well-timed and intentional humor. The tension created as Zoe and Sin navigate their feelings for each other is rich and impassioned, showcasing their strong, independent characteristics as well as their desires to work together for a common cause.

Zoe and Sin are developed as much through their own actions as their interactions with each other and a well-thought-out cast of supporting characters. Eddy’s side characters drew me in and beautifully enhanced the nuances of the MCs personalities. I love two of them so much, I grabbed Wicked Omens before I had even finished Storm of Sin.

As for the audiobook, it is wickedly intense and enthralling. Jason Clarke and Maxine Mitchell bring Sin and Zoe to breathtaking life with flawless timing, fantastic inflection, and a talent for voicing side characters (and the other main character) that left me wondering if it was actually them at all. This is an audiobook I will definitely listen to again. And probably again again.

Amazing

An amazing paranormal novel. I've loved it both times I've listened/read it. I do not want to post any spoilers but it is an epic love story. I discovered Patricia D. Eddy through her romantic suspense novels and discovered she also writes this genre, and was not disappointed in the least. I honestly struggle to find paranormal authors who keep my attention with their worlds, with only a handful, but this passed the test. Not to turn anyone off (they just happen to be TV shows I've loved) but I got a vibe of a mix of Charmed and Supernatural, both shows I've been addicted to so of course I connected those to it, and this world was so much more to me. And the narration was awesome to boot.

A unique spin on Angels and Demons

I loved how descriptive the author is. Describing hell was intense. The love story between these characters is also really cool. The narration was spot on. Great story

Excellent paranormal romance brilliantly performed

I was very lucky to receive this audiobook in exchange for an honest review as part of an advanced listening team. I have been waiting for this one for a long time and I was definitely not disappointed. Patricia Eddy is a favorite Author who delivers well-researched, well-written characters who are unique and complex with gritty pasts and challenging personalities. I love her strong female characters who kick ass on their own, but are not too jaded to melt under the right circumstances... I was intrigued by Patricia's take on paranormal romance and Sin's character upon introduction to his brother, Maddox, in Wicked Omens. This story is paranormal romance with mystery, suspense, a kick-ass heroin, and a complex antihero - loving all of it!!! This book is not all about a single male character who swoops in and save the day. It's full of heroes who come together and sacrifice in different ways for the ones they love in many ways, just like life. There is also humor with some excellent zingers. You have to love the name of the special unit, BOO. lol

To experience the heart-crushing loss, guilt, regret, determination, love, and HAF scenes when Zoe and Sin quite literally crash into each other through truly excellent performances by Jason Clarke and Maxine Mitchell - just WOW! Every word was delivered with exquisite precision! Maxine blew me away with her delivery of Zoe! I'll admit I have a bit of a crush on her male voice... Jason Clarke's brilliantly growly voice always pulls me into the story and lights me up. Both narrators navigate flawlessly through the many characters of different ages, genders, humans, shifters, beasts, demons, etc. in this dual narration. I would recommend it to anyone who loves paranormal romance audiobooks.
