Story
Ellie and Eric Nyland have moved their two sons back to Eric’s childhood farmhouse, hoping for a fresh start. But there’s no denying it, their family is falling apart, each one of them isolated by private sorrows, stresses, and missed signals. When Eric finds Hannah Finch, the girl across the road, wandering alone in the bitter cold, his rusty police instincts kick in, and he soon discovers there are bad things happening in the girl’s house. Story
On Getting Unstuck, Pema Chodron introduces a rare Tibetan teaching she received from her teacher, Dzigar Kontrul Rinpoche, and one that has become critical to her practice. Here, she unveils the mystery of an ineffable quality; a "pre-emotional" feeling that arises in us, brings us discomfort, and causes us to react by escaping the discomfort, often with harmful habits. With Getting Unstuck, she offers us a first look at "both the itch and the scratch": what Tibetan Buddhists call shenpa.

Story
Moving from the big city to the picturesque town of Sunnypoint seems perfect for Dillon and her mom. But the new house - a big, old Victorian - creeps Dillon out, especially the old trunk in the attic that seems to move by itself. As if that weren't bad enough, the tight-knit popular girls at her new school hate her instantly. Dillon finds solace with the quirky kids - Quinn, the film nerd, Birdie, the back-of-the-class wit, and Kumail, the history fanatic. Together they find a mysterious necklace in the trunk, and when Dillon wears it, all of her wishes seem to come true.

An expert, story-driven account of how Coinbase won the cryptocurrency game and set itself up to lead the future of banking and blockchain-based trading. This is the story of the people who made Coinbase, per PitchBook, “one of the most valuable startups in the US,” including the stoic, preppy founder and CEO Brian Armstrong and the bitcoin-obsessed former lumberjack Olaf Carlson-Wee, who turned their backs on the first generation of wild-eyed Bitcoin prophets to build something more profound and practical.

Parenting advice isn't hard to find. There are thousands of books on the subject, as well as a multitude of websites. Much has also been written on the science of child development. What's been lacking, however, are sources of reliable advice that bring together the scientific research and its real-world applications.

For toddlers and silly stories
I played this for my kids until in the first story there was some talk of the princesses needing to marry a handsome prince. This is promoting the narrative of women needing men to succeed. This is trash. Also this seems like it’s for toddlers. My kids are 6 and 9. This is beneath them. I thought it would have fun stories for kids 6 and 9. NOT!

My 5 year old loves this audio book! We’ve been listening to magic tree house, but when I was able to download a new book we decided on this one. The storytellers are amazing! You feel as if you are sitting around a circle with a group of people. The narration is so rich in depth with words and sounds that it sucks you in. We’ll be certainly getting more in this series!
