This book felt like it was written for me for I dwell in dualities… I really enjoy stories of fantasy or the occult, while I am a pragmatist at heart… I love stories that don’t take themselves too seriously while gently weaving in philosophical themes and a dash of existential dread. I especially adore a storyteller who can tell magical tales that contain real human truths without preaching… Honestly, after only fifteen-twenty minutes of listening this magnificently written and performed story, I already wished it wouldn’t end in ten hours. I wholeheartedly recommend this gem to anyone who’s a fan Gravity Falls, the Umbrella Academy, Edward Gorey, and the like.
