Cute and Fun

If you could sum up Sugar Cookie Murder in three words, what would they be?

Cute, fun, and yummy

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

This story did keep me on the edge of my seat as much as a cozy mystery could. It was slightly predictable, but the reasons were not.

Which character – as performed by Suzanne Toren – was your favorite?

I liked Hannah as always. Hannah and her sister.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I was a little upset at Mike and how he treated Hannah in this book. He was gruff and a little possessive it seemed.

Any additional comments?

This was not my favorite in the series at all. It was cute and fun, but not the best. There were a couple of things I could just not forgive. I would elaborate, but it would ruin a few plotlines. Overall though, a fun quick read!

Fun at the potluck.

I don't like how Mike acted in this one but Hannah still rescues the day. Definitely worth the read.

A sweet cozy mystery

This is a very sweet, almost too sweet (in every sense if the word) cozy mystery which really needs to have a little more mystery, and a little less Andy Griffith. Scooby-Doo cartoons have more grit than this book. Having said that, if you like Murder She Wrote TV series, crossed with the Andy Griffith show of super pleasantries, cookies and cakes, then this will be your cup of tea.

Worth a free listen

Ok story with fun characters. I wouldn't have used a credit on it because the main protagonist is not very likeable. She's brave and can make cookies, but her complete ignorance of technology including basic digital camera features is not believable. Narrator is pretty good, though some of the voices sound older than the characters, some are too shrill.

Always the best

I just love these mysteries. The narrator is top notch. I have watched to movies on Hallmark so picturing the characters makes it even better.
