Publisher's Summary
Sometimes the happiness we’re looking for has been there all along....
Adele and Justine have never been close. Born 20 years apart, Justine was already an adult when Addie was born. The sisters love each other, but they don’t really know each other.
When Addie dropped out of university to care for their ailing parents, Justine, a successful lawyer, covered the expenses. It was the best arrangement at the time, but now that their parents are gone, the future has changed dramatically for both women.
Addie had great plans for her life but has been worn down by the pressures of being a caregiver and doesn’t know how to live for herself. And Justine’s success has come at a price. Her marriage is falling apart despite her best efforts.
Neither woman knows how to start life over but both realize they can and must support each other the way only sisters can. Together they find the strength to accept their failures and overcome their challenges. Happiness is within reach, if only they have the courage to fight for it.
Set in the stunning coastal town of Half Moon Bay, California, Robyn Carr’s new novel examines the joys of sisterhood and the importance of embracing change.

Strong empowering women
The title, makes sense after reading the book. However, I purchased this book, only because it was on sale, and I figured would kill some time between my credit and books that I have on my wish list. It was a great read. I’m glad I purchased it. Shout out, to Robyn Carr, not just a romantic fluff piece. I could go on and on, but don’t want to give it away… read this book!

I awaited the release of the book for some time, as I loved all the earlier books of Robyn Carr. This one however was not worth the credit. The storyline is depressing. The whaling of the main character exhausted me .

Great Book
As a mature listener, this was a great romance. Most romances these days, the couple jump into a sexual romance almost in the first chapter and the characters are very young. This book had mature characters and a real-life storyline, which made for a very enjoyable listen. Robyn Carr is one of my favorite authors and Therese Plummer my favorite narrator. Definitely worth the credit.

Good tutorial on woman in transition. How to get over crisis when all seems to be gone. The best was you find is seeking help and keep slowly moving ahead. Find new friends. Review your options no matter how small and work with what you have and grow from there. Great read!

Great story & characters
The only reservation I have about the book is how many times the subplot thoughts of lead characters were repeated and repeated. If someone were starting the book from the middle, those recaps might be needed, but having read from the start, it felt like the same thing was being said time and again.
