Amazing job by the narrator. Engaging and heartbreaking story. Might be my favourite of the series. If you’re a fan of the previous books, you’ll love this

Given that I haven’t read any Hunger Games books since I was 8-12 (I’m 25 now), I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this! Performance was very, very well done and Jefferson White made a very convincing young Haymitch. It was good enough that I’ll be listening to The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes next! Might even get the original trilogy too. Definitely worth a credit if you’re thinking about this one!

Not too old to listen to a Hunger Games book

the book is a great story and opens our eyes to more of Panem. Told through Haymitch we learn more about the history of this dystopian universe. the narrator is the best part, sharing different voices, adding empathy to each line. As a long time Hunger Games fan, I adore this novel.

It’s really written and narrated beautifully, not quite as good as the others though in the series IMO but definitely no slouch. Throughly enjoyed it!

More of a Good Thing

I got in thinking it was gonna be an aftertough of a book, but Suzanne Collins knew what she was doing with this story! It adds so much context to the first 3 Hunger Games. I was not the biggest fan of The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, but Sunrise on the Reaping is a must read for any fan of the serie.

There’s a little bit too much moping for my taste. I don’t think that it would make sense for them not to mope, but I wish they didn’t focus in on it as much because it gets really really annoying after the third hour where they haven’t said anything other than being sad

It’s not super original, but it’s more of the classic hunger games style

This book was truly beautiful its point is clear and sends a message. It fills in gaps from the other hunger games and fills in details that make so much sense looking back.

To say this book packs a punch, is an understatement. It left me shocked and thinking of Haymitch for days. I couldn’t recommend it more, just read the main series first.

This book is everything a HungerGames fan is looking for! Excellent story and narration. There are a few audio mistakes though. You hear the narrator say audio directions in a few spots, I noticed it in chapter 8, maybe it can be fixed.
