About this listen

Sometimes life in the Hatcher household is enough to make twelve-year-old Peter think about running away. His worst problem is still his younger brother, Fudge, who hasn't changed a bit since his crazy capers in Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing. If you ask Peter, Fudge is just an older — and bigger — pain.

Then Peter learns that his mom is going to have a baby and the whole family is moving to Princeton for a year. It will be bad enough starting sixth grade in a strange place and going to the same school as Fudge. But Peter can imagine something even worse. How will he ever survive if the new baby is a carbon copy of Fudge?©1992 Judy Blume; (P)1992 Random House, Inc., Listening Library, An Imprint Of The Random House Audio Publishing Group

I can’t believe that in a book for kids the author just decides to killed the magic that we parents work so hard to keep. Avoid this book, or at least skip chapter 10.

She killed Santa, and the magic for my kids.

I saw someone said: “ShE RUinEd ThE MaGic oF SaNtA” well if u don’t like that then don’t let ur kids listen to it, but in my opinion this is one of the best children’s books ever.

Good story. This story is very nice. Fudge is goofy,. Tootsie is cute. Peters parents might actually want a candy shop. I like this story. It has quite a bit of impact on me.

This audiobook is one of my favourites. I’ve listened to it more than 5 times and every time I laughed like it’s a first time I hear it.
In the deeper level, the way kids affect each other in a family and at school pictures vividly. I believe this book suits adults to remember how it looked like being a kid.

The sense of humour of kids is amazing.
