Publisher's Summary

War is coming!

The government has accelerated their super soldier program. Their new Virtual Reality system is the perfect tool to train soldiers for the coming war. There is a shortage of enlisted men and women that possess the "talent". Everyone from athletes to professional gamers must be sorted and vetted. Humanity is on the line.

Lucius is one of those lucky few selected to participate in Codename: Freedom, a new game that promises to push Virtual Reality to the ultimate level. Unknown to him, the Game Developers have no time to waste. With the pain dampeners turned off and an army ready to attack the new players as they enter Codename: Freedom, he will have to ask himself an unexpected question. Is his dream worth suffering for? Will he quit, go mad, or find the motivation to fight when it becomes painfully clear that this is far from just another game?

Listen to 3 books from this series so far

I was hesitant to start this series mainly because I enjoyed the Underworld series so much and was worried this one wouldn't be as good and yes because of other reviews saying they didn't like the M.C
I would first like to say the Narration was Very well done and secondly I would like to stress that the M.C is likable and we'll written with excellent emotional development without it being over the top. afterall the three books spans a period of 1 year with the largest influence on our M.C being is combat teacher.

Overall I would say I very much enjoyed the series and have the 4th one liked up, also since I was hesitant at first and found myself enjoying it so much I will also be picking up the Prodigy series. Excitement! you can imagine me waging my behind like a dog with a tall... perhaps best not to imagine it. Best of health to you fellow reader's and to the Author, Thank you for your creative works.

Just did not like the mc

Interesting idea. I’m not sure why they wouldn’t go more sci fy with the skills. Really disliked the mc. Really seemed ver below average and painfully bad with people, women especially. Dident finish. Couldn’t handle his interactions with drool
