S York excellent...O. Song awful narrator!
The storyline of Ivy was dead on for her character based on previous books. A bad-a** ex-navy seal is basically the only person in this world who would attract Ivy's attention so I found that to be realistic. I actually enjoy all of K.A. Tucker's books but this particular version performed by Olvia Song was almost unbearable. Every time "Ivy"'s chapter came up and she spoke in any type of "male" voice it made me want to turn it off - yes its that bad. Sebastian York is phenomenal as usual and I wish Elizabeth Louise was the narrator for Ivy hence the 3 stars for performance.

Not as good as the others in this series
This book was okay. I have really enjoyed the first three and was surprised this one didn't measure up to the others. The female narrator doing a male voice was awful. They shouldn't try so hard to sound like a man. Ruins it because it sounds so cheesy.

I really wanted to like this book.....
Is there anything you would change about this book?
The story is ok, the erotic scenes kind of tepid
What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?
Not very interesting. I made it through 2/3 and finally gave it up. The protagonists are too much alike to be interesting
What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?
I love Olivia Song's voice. That said, the criticisms of her forcing a male voice are valid.
Did Surviving Ice inspire you to do anything?
No.
Any additional comments?
I was led to this title after reading "He Will be my Ruin." THAT is a great book by the same author. I've read it twice now and enjoyed every minute.
PASS on this title and get HE WILL BE MY RUIN.

Not my fav of hers, but mostly enjoyable
This was good for the most part. I am not a big suspense person, but this really held my interest. I didn't love the female main character, I couldn't relate to her at all. Also, the female narrator has a nice female voice, but an awful male voice. The male narrator was great, as usual.

Love KA Tucker
KA Tucker is a genius. I buy everything she writes and she knocks it out of the park!! So well written, complex and suspenseful. Loved these two and the secondary characters.

Fantastic Story! Great Performance!
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I would recommend this audiobook because of the storyline and the narrators. I AM IN LOVE WITH SEBASTIAN YORK'S VOICE!!!!
What was one of the most memorable moments of Surviving Ice?
Have you listened to any of Sebastian York and Olivia Song ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I search for books narrated by Sebastian York because I love love listening to his voice. This performance is exactly what I wanted to hear from Sebastian. I will listen to the book again because of Sebastian York - the narrator. I had never listened to Oliva Song.
Any additional comments?
I like K A Tucker books. This book had the right amount of suspense, secrets, attraction, and romance. I liked Ivy's spunk, artistic passion, and her insecurities. She was exactly who I envisioned her character to be. I absolutely adored Sebastian (not sure if I like Sebastian the character or Sebastian the narrator, LOL). Sebastian (the character ...smile), was all male, protective, secretive, and was hurting. Without realizing it was happening, his character developed to overcome his hurt and find unexpected romance with Ivy. I will listen to this book a second time because the story was good. I recommend this audiobook.

My Favorite of the Series
The woman's voice didn't do great with Sebatian's voice 100% but didn't really effect listening with the story. She did a good job with Ivy's voice and Sebatian's mother. Sebatian's voice actor portays exactly how I would expect him to sound and did a good job with Ivy's voice. Loved the random character backgrounds being throw together and the humor was great and made me chuckle several times.

Still listening but...
Not finished yet but it will be tough. The female narrator does a good job doing female voices but she should never do male voices...ever. Sebastian York should have read the whole book. He at least does a good female voice.

if you liked the previous books, you’ll like this one
Seriously, if you enjoyed the others in this series, you’ll enjoy this one. I don’t write many reviews, but I was hesitant to give this book a try because all the negative reviews regarding the female narrator’s voice. However, I think all those negative reviewers must just enjoy complaining, because Song’s narration was totally fine. So, if you enjoyed the other stories leading up to this one, give it a try and enjoy getting to know Ivy better.

Awesome, fun, quirky assassin's love story!
I really rooted for Ivy, the anti-hero's heroine, and Sebastian, a hunky hitman with a heart. Plus, how could you pass up listening to the Olivia Song - Sebastian York narration show?! This is my second audiobook narrated by this dynamic duo and I hope to find more of them in your library.
I really like the author's writing style - descriptive, pedestrian and real.
