Writting is poor, story is good

The narration is great.
But the writting is terrible.
The story itself is interesting and I enjoy the idea but the author definitely should have taken a class.

My other issue is the author's obvious lust for his own weird little bug girl while simultaneously alluding to homosexual interests.
Oh, and there was a nasty surprise towards the end. Where the main character talks about being a fan of WW2, then mentions his Italian heritage and that he had a Japanese and German friend... So, I'm pretty sure the author is either a Axis fanboy or worse. Not gonna support that BS.

I do not recommend this book.
But maybe there is something better written of similar ilk.
