hello rope play
Definitely filled with BDSM / bondage.
The storyline is good, but unless there's a reason for being an FBI agent in future books she could have been literally anyone. The ending was blah but the overall story was good.
Narrators: I love Joe Arden. I'm not sure why people aren't liking Lucy Rivers, I thought the overall performances were great. The storyline may have thrown people off. the start and ending were meh but the guts of it were exciting. It had more bondage / rope play and collaring than other books I've listened too/ read this year but it's still your typical captive story.
Will I continue the series? I'm not rushing to them.
It was a good in-between series book. I don't know, I enjoyed it- favorite no but a good one.
do be careful, there is mention of an uncle molesting her as a child/ childhood trauma so just putting that out there. Other than that your typical captive triggers are still warnings.

Both sides
Over all good. Spicy is 3.5/5
Uses the same words repeatedly. There is a book from the male main characters point of view however it would of been nice if they were intertwined in the same book.

Narrator did not do the characters "justice"
Great story idea but narrator was disappointing and distracting ... amazing book in the series or as a standalone. Passionate from start to finish can't wait for the next book.

Narrator not good in this book... :(
Only made it to chapter 7. Like other comments here, female voice was too "distracting" and took away from the characters. Could not continue... too bad. :(
