I feel sorry for those readers who felt this story was about pedophilia or were “creeped out.” It is evident they either didn’t listen/read the whole story, or are too obtuse to understand what was going on in the book. Sure, the guy is waaay older than the girl, but she was legal and back in the day it was rather normal for men well into their 40s to marry girls that were in their early teens. Society changed and so began the waiting for girls to be at least 18. And so it should have. And although this story is on the cusp of being inappropriate, it does not cross those boundaries and instead as one delves deeper into the book one can see the true nature of love displayed through his insistence on having her parents blessing. He maybe should have started there, but meh, he didn’t. In the end he attempted to show respect and found redemption and dare I say acceptance.

Ryker and Aria are 17 years apart.

Can you really have things in common with such an age difference.? Maybe.

The two narrators are great, but unfortunately Emma’s narration voice was too old for a 17-18 year old. Was hard to get into have a teenager with that voice when she was supposed to be a child.

Christian Fox was awesome.

I’m good with an older guy and younger girl troupe but this was way too young like Jail Bait young!!! 🤢

As a woman who is now in her mid thirties and was propositioned by older men when I was in my teens (it’s not sexy it’s scary!) this book was triggering and hard to get through!

If she was 20 or 21 and the. He’s in his late thirties I would have an easier time with it, but she was 17 turning 18!!! Yuck 🤢

He was 35 year old business man who kept talking about how he loved the young ones and to corrupt them and take away their innocence it was the mentality of a serial predator it made me feel sick!

I kept trying to imagine her older in my head to get around the age, but he liked the little kids balloons 🎈 wrapped around her wrist on her 18th birthday and told her to keep it on. She was just a child!

This book would have been so much better if it was her 25 year old sister that she was house sitting for when she met him.

The sex scenes were hot and I love spicy books but this book was to close to pedophilia I couldn’t enjoy it! Her pink princess bedroom that he loved was hers was so wrong! No good grown man should ever be turned on by her childness.

Of course this book tried to make everything okay because her parents had a 14 year age gap so her parents would have to be okay with this “relationship” if that’s what you want to call it.

It’s ends on the day of her high school graduation and they basically make amateur child porn on his phone.

This story is so Pedadila. The Ryker North character does like women older. Or rather 25yrs. The whole story could not sit with me. Just creepy. Because there's likes like this, see them around when I was that age, at the family get together. Really creepy. They are all about the sex, and at the age you are young still trying to find there path in life. F’up story. Why 17 or rather 18? I am creep out, could not finish listening to 😩😩😩

with the 35yo man and the 17-18yo girl, this story was a little to "typical male porn" pervy for me to even get into and i couldn't finish it.

the narrators were fantastic. I didn't finish the book. I stopped it as soon as intercourse was mentioned for a 17/18 year old. definitely not my thing
