Publisher's Summary
The last thing Jenna Riley needs is more sports in her life. While her brothers are off being athletic superstars, she's stuck running the family's sports bar, whether she likes it or not. Then, in walks pro hockey stud Tyler Anderson. As much as Jenna would like to go to the boards with him, she's vowed to never fall for a jock - even one as hot as Ty.
Ty, intrigued by the beautiful bar owner, becomes a regular. He senses that Jenna wants to do something more with her life. And as he gains her trust, the passion between them grows, as does Ty's insistence that Jenna should start living for herself. With his encouragement, Jenna starts to believe it, too.But first, Jenna has to figure out what she wants, what she needs, who she loves, and if she has the passion and pride to take a shot at having it all - including Ty.

Well I got the first 2, so
I really enjoyed the first two books but this one is just ok for me. I enjoy a story with more drama involved. The sexual content is good but it just lacked the other things I like thrown in. I want angst, suspense, danger..... you get the idea. This is just so mediocre. If you have gotten the other two books in this series and you want to continue with the story I would suggest adding this one to your wish list and catching it on sale.

You like sports and romance?
I really enjoyed this story. I liked the characters, liked the plot, and I liked the setting. I like reading romances with sports. And this author actually bothered to describe the sport. You know what I didn't like? It's the 3rd in a series, but the first 2 weren't available!

ENJOYABLE YES BUT SOOOO FRUSTRATING TOO
I've listened out of order but I really don't think it matters much but I just couldn't resist the cover (how sad am I?) alright I liked the sound of the story too.
This is one of those books that I enjoyed yes - but didn't love - due entirely to the female character's personality - "I don't, I won't, I'm not going to, I want more, I'm not looking, I'll choose it myself etc etc etc" you get the picture. IF she had been blessed with a more pleasant character then I could have thoroughly shared in the romance and passion not just the very hot, explicit love scenes. There was a tender romantic love scene at the end but it was a little too late for redemption.
Worth a credit? Yes, if you can see past her PMS attitude and I will download another as I am enjoying the whole ice hockey scene, which is a brand new theme for me.

Falling in love or lust?
The cover convinced me to get this book, yep, watching that HOT male body while listening to a contemporary romance story was exactly what I wanted. And although the story was ok I did not love it. The heroine was annoying and her constant whining got to me. The overall plot of this story was underwhelming and I did not believe the romance. The couple had lots of hot sex but I did not see the love developing... The narrator was ok too. Did not add much emotion to the story, but then again, it was not that emotional anyway... I guess I was expecting a hot sports and romance story like the one from Rachel Gibson but this one was all about sex...

GREAT
I wasn't sure i was going to like this book but as it got into it. I couldn't stop listening to it. It was great. The only thing that I don't like is that this was BOOK 3 of the series and the other 2 are not in audible format. That's a real bummer.

repetitive
drawn out ..... the pattern for this whole series is couples admit feeling in last chapter of book .... forgiveness is also given way to easy right at end of story .... too much push and pull

Taking A Shot
This family! Jenna is the only girl in the family and she has been running the family sports bar since her big brothers play pro sports, one football and the other baseball. This is not her dream but she will work it anyway to keep it in the family. She has met her match, though, in Tyler Anderson, the newest hockey player in town. The only problem, she wants nothing to do with any man who plays sports. That is until he convinces her otherwise. When he finds out her secrets will he be able to help her accomplish her dream? Definitely enjoyed this one! Still looking forward to more!

Taking a Shot!
I enjoyed "Taking a Shot"! I have been anticipating learning more about Jenna. She is Mick and Gavin's sister and the only Riley daughter. Having grown up with two jock brothers and the running a sports bar she doesn't want to fall for a jock. However, the chemistry between her and one very hot hockey player cannot be denied. Will she take a risk on love? This is probably my favorite so far in this series. I absolutely love Ty!! Jenna is fun and witty as well. Having lived in the shadows I really like to see Ty push her to realize her dreams. These two are combustible together in this very hot steamy story.
