Publisher's Summary

The Destiny’s Crucible series chronicles the incredible adventure of Joseph Colsco, a college student of no particular importance who is thrust into an unimaginable fate by an accident that couldn’t happen - but did. Cast naked on the planet Anyar, he forges a new life for himself and rises to prominence and responsibilities he would otherwise never have imagined. However, much is left undone and uncertain.

For fans who finished the first four installments, many questions were left unanswered and many stories left untold. This collection of short stories and novellas addresses some of the questions, expands previous books, and points to future directions. The anthology begins not on the planet Anyar but on Earth, with the aftermath of the improbable accident that starts Joseph Colsco on his new life.

Great Side Bar Stories

Mr. Thorensen did a great job in tying up some loose ends and adding a bit of back story to some of the Book 4 stories. As always he paints the story as if you could see the odd animals, or smell the smoke from the cannons. Mr. Davis does a superb job in narration that even takes you deeper into the characters and makes them feel real, and you can feel their joy and anguish. Great job, and onto Book 6. Thanks, Gentlemen this is a great story.

I liked it. Want more

After the first four books, I wasn't sure if I wanted to continue. When this one came out, I knew I would listen to it eventually. When I did get around to it, I found it to be a refreshing continuation of the story. However, it felt like only half a book with so many story lines started but left unexplored.
