Publisher's Summary

Adria, wolf changeling and resilient soldier, has made a break with the past - one as unpredictable in love as it was in war. Now comes a new territory, and a devastating new complication: Riaz, a SnowDancer lieutenant already sworn to a desperate woman who belongs to another.

For Riaz, the primal attraction he feels for Adria is a staggering betrayal. For Adria, his dangerous lone wolf appeal is beyond sexual. It consumes her. It terrifies her. It threatens to undermine everything she has built of her new life. But fighting their wild attraction proves a losing battle.

Their coming together is an inferno.... and a melding of two wounded souls who promise each other no commitment, no ties, no bonds. Only pleasure. Too late, they realize that they have more to lose than they ever imagined. Drawn into a cataclysmic Psy war that may alter the fate of the world itself, they must make a decision that might just break them both.

I found this book lacking not as good

The book beforehand was so good I kept hoping this one was going to get better but I just found this book lacking. The story was just okay including the love story in this book, not bad but not good just lacking.

Story is about a lot of couples. don’t skip it.

So when I read book 10 with Hawke and Sienna, I gave it a four star cause I was kind of disappointed that there wasn’t enough to the romance and love story because a lot of it was dedicated to the war which honestly I really liked so it was fine, but I felt like it was missing a huge part of the book and it was over 400. anyways, the continuation of Hawke and sienna is in this book, Mercy and Riley as well. Lucas and Sasha a lot about Kaleb and about so many secondary characters that you have to read this. It’s a disservice if you don’t read it. I really liked the main protagonist in this book they didn’t deserve their own story I found, but I like the tangle of not being mates and it kind of hurt a bit for Adria because her first relationship was not good and So for her second relationship to be with somebody who isn’t her mate and again and feel second best kind of hurt. But overall it was a good book. all to say is that this book is mainly about the other characters and then the side story is Adria and Riaz. So if you don’t want to read it because you think of the mating bond and the love triangle, that really has nothing to do with this story almost it’s almost secondary it’s like lara and Walker secondary story in sienna and Hawkes. I’m just saying this because I know that a lot of people on other platforms didn’t read this book because of that and you absolutely should it’s a disservice to you if you don’t.
