Publisher's Summary

Blind dates? Online dating profiles? Been there, done that.

Georgia Cummings has zero luck with dating, and the era of the Internet is not her friend. No matter how fast she runs, how many corners she turns, she can't find her way out of this weird, alternate universe where men think dick pics are a replacement for small talk and getting to know a girl. One more crotch selfie and she might write men off for good.

But why can't she stop fantasizing about him?

Kline Brooks is the quintessential billionaire bad boy - dark, styled, short hair, muscles for days, and a panty-dropping smile.

Except he isn't. As his employee, he won't touch her with a 10-foot pole. And she won't touch him either. Too bad their hormones missed the memo.

Boring and too cookie cutter

I lost interest when she showed up to the charity benefit almost 1 hour late after turning down being picked up as a show of defiance even though she has poor time management skills and is always late...what was the reason? Your guess is as good as mine, it wasn’t mentioned. Was this supposed to be endearing? Was it so he could have the unnecessary encounter with the woman his mom tried to set him up with?

lets talk about the dating app....why is this part of the book? And Who flirts and talks to someone on a dating app as much as they do without getting a real name? A catfish, that’s who. It’s so ridiculous it’s funny, She’s nervous about her date, but she doesn’t call a close friend, nope, she contacts the guy she’s been flirting with on a dating app to talk down her nerves and tells him ...of all people...she thinks the guy she’s going on a date with may be someone special and that she’s a virgin. I read fantasy books more realistic than this book, no way I’m suffering through 8 more hours of it.

I love Eric Michael Summerer’s narration, not so much CJ Bloom.

Couldn’t force myself to get past chapter 5

Couldn’t get through it despite two tries. Attempts at humour failed miserably. Juvenile and crass. Female narrator overacting- very annoying even at 1,5 x speed. A waste of time.

Way too much coffee

Why did I say way too much coffee…..

The character and/or narrator Georgia/CJ was drinking too much coffee while doing this book.
I hated the so incredibly hyper job that was done. Or you could say she was over acting. It was so annoying I had to fast forward or skip parts she was talking in.
Eric was great. The reason I gave the performance a one star was because he had a 4 star and she had a -3 star. Well close enough.

The actual story was ok.

The next book is about their two best friends. I think I’ll get it because it’s free, and CJ Bloom is not narrating it.

Sad to hear the Portrayal of Georgia Rose Cummings

Georgia is the Director of Marketing for a multimillion dollar company. In this position she has to have educational experience which I’m sure included communication, the art of negotiation, marketing and etc. I find it hard to believe she is a confident successful woman but in her personal life she would not go to the source to find the truth when things didn’t add up. Growing up with her Mom as a sex therapist also must have given her skills to adult better than bury her head in the sand.

Super funny and steamy and chivalry....

Hints of Fifty Shades but different. OMG I was laugh crying in some parts. Narrators did a great job the night of the fundraiser. Benny and Georgia's relationships is the best. Kline's words are so dreamy, melty and oh such a gentleman. Can we all meet a man that only speaks what he means and says what he wants...

Narrator Eric did a great job, CJ needs a better male voice and her excited voice sounds like a whiny teenage girl, its cringe.

Funny

The characters were very loveable and funny, but the story was lacking. There were no big conflicts…
