Publisher's Summary
Laynie
I had it all growing up. Popularity, beauty, great friends, and a perfect family. But then one day, it all changed - now I'm blind. I've never let that stop me, though. Life is an adventure, and I believe in making the best out of every moment. I spend my days with a job I love, online friends, and a sexy new book boyfriend every week. I know in my heart that someday, my own prince charming will come along and appreciate me for exactly who I am - I won't settle for anything less. Meeting Tease seems like the beginning of my fairy tale...until he opens his mouth.
Tease
I don't trust people - ever. Every single person I've ever loved has contributed, in one way or another, to the shit show that is my life. Laynie's beauty is what caught my eye, but her personality is what held it. Laynie's the only person to ever see past my appearance and break down the walls I've worked so hard to build. I'll do whatever it takes to keep her. When things heat up with a rival club and Laynie gets caught in the crossfire, I will unleash hell on earth to protect the woman who makes me want to trust someone again.

Had to read this one instead
I love Joe Arden’s narrations, but the minute I got to Maxine Mitchell’s part I knew I could no longer listen. She has a VERY weird style of reading that I can’t handle listening to. I’m not sure if it’s just a timing issue or what seems to be odd inflections/ annunciation/ intonation of words, but it is like nails on a chalkboard for me. Sadly, I had to skip the audio and read the book myself instead.
My biggest complaint about the book itself is simply in the wanting more time with the characters once the end comes. Geri Glenn does a fabulous job of immersing the reader in the world and getting them invested in the characters.
Definitely worth the read, and maybe worth the listen if you don’t mind the quirky female narration that drove me nuts!

When is a monster not a monster? When he's Tease
What made the experience of listening to Tease the most enjoyable?
I absolutely loved Tease and Laynie's story. He's a sexy biker who thinks he's nothing but a monster, he can't see the good in himself so holds everyone at arms length, including his Kings of Korruption brothers.....then he see's the most gorgeous woman he has ever seen in his life while on body guard duty for his VP's wife Charlotte. **if you haven't already, make sure you read/listen to Ryker first before Tease ** Laynie is a counselor for children who are going/gone blind, she is perfect for the job, she is compassionate, caring and understanding, she knows what these kids are going through as she herself is blind as the result of an accident. So along with her guide dog Dexter she negotiates her life but it's a lonely life, except for an overbearing mother, her father and brother Daniel....well that is until her path crosses with Tease's. Laynie and Tease are a good fit, he treats her as a person, not someone with a disability and she treats him as the person he really is, a sweet, compassionate, a little rough around the edges nice guy, lol and she refuses to call him Tease, he's Travis to her. She can tell he's a broken but she can feel the goodness in him. Their story isn't always easy, infact I'll warn you now you are going to need tissues later into their story and your heart will break, I know mine did, but their journey is so worth everything they go through to find their own peace of happiness. This book doesn't end with an HEA as it is part of a series but it does end with a Happy For Now and a snippet from the next book in the series Jase....can't wait to hear his audio book next.

Mc novel. 1POV. HEA. Standalone
This is a sizzling mc romance. It can be listened as a standalone but is second in the series. I was happy to see Tease get a love story.

Missing info just okay
I like these books and just downloaded the next one. I just feel like both book 1 and 2 were anti climatic for a reason. I feel like they just end leaving the reader with questions. For example with out a spoiler the MC took some action and it was handled once it was over there was nothing. Two lines and done. I just think that there could have been more. Just weird something is brought up and then without any development left in the wind. The quick Brittany blurb just added a bit of humor but nothing else. While I enjoyed it was added in for fluff but had potential of being more.
I wish I can be more specific and there was more story. This also just ended abruptly and started to set up the next novel regarding Jase. Well hopefully it will get better. If not then I won’t continue.

Sort entertainment
What a perfect short entertaining MC. It's not very realistic or gritty or dirty. It's a super light and sweet MC, but it's also a cute story that kept me entertained from start to finish.
I love Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell together. Now, is Joe MC material? Probably not. But it was great narration none the less.

living in darkness can bring out the light
I loved having the layers that guarded Tease peeled back in this story. My heart broke for the boy he was and the man that emerged. Laney was the perfect female counterpart. The Kings have become one of my favorite MC's and I can't wait to see where fate takes the rest of the club.

Lite on plot and originality
It felt like every other mc romance stripped down to the minimum and adding a blind love interest.

this one was boring compared to book one.
this one was boring and anti climactic compared to Ryker & Reapers story. I was disappointed.
