Publisher's Summary

A sexy new friends-to-lovers stand-alone performed by Zachary Webber and Andi Arndt!

Let me list the reasons why dating the sexy, charming pro hockey star is a bad idea:

He’s one of my closest friends.

All our friends are friends.

The wounds I’ve got from past relationships go deep. And so do his.

We’re both devoutly single - it’s just safer for the heart that way. But there’s no reason not to bid on the gorgeous, clever athlete at the charity auction this weekend. If I win, it’ll be a "friendsdate".

And I do win. I win him big. And hard. And all night long.

The trouble is...what happens in the morning?

This fun and sexy romance also includes an extended epilogue narrated by Brian Pallino and Stella Hunter!

✫✫ 4 Stars ✫✫

I have a soft spot for all of Lauren Blakely's fun and flirty romance books and this book is no different. I love a friends to lovers romance, Ransom and Teagan are exactly that, they have a fun friendship and they also have a group of friends in common. With the group all finding their HEA, they are pulling for these two not only because they are the last singles of the group but because they have so much in common. Sometimes your friends know you better than you know yourself ;) I love the friendship throughout this group and I was so happy to get updates on the past couples in the series. This book was everything I expect from Lauren Blakely with major chemistry, fun and witty banter and a HEA that will make your heart happy! The narration was great. This is mostly narrated Andi Arndt & Zachary Webber. There are also a couple chapter at the end from the POV of a couple other characters narrated by Brian Pallino, Stella Hunter and Joe Arden does the epilogue and extras. I also have to give a BIG shout out to Brian Pallino for his Castilian Spanish accent... WOW!!

5 Stars for Teagan and Ransom

The verdict is in...this book is sweet and swoony and sexy as hell! So much to love about this story. I loved Teagan and Ransom's friendship and how their relationship evolves around that special connection. The humor in this is freaking fantastic too. From Teagan's fake dying during laser tag, to Ransom and Adrian's hilarious trash talking text chat, nearly every conversation with Tempest and Ransom and all of the joking between the whole group of friends. Plus the banter, Lauren ALWAYS gives good banter and it really comes through in the audiobook productions, which brings me to the narrators. Andi and Zach were absolutely wonderful and perfectly cast as Teagan and Ransom. Andi captured the tone, attitude and personality of Teagan so well. She's one narrator that I'm consistently impressed with as well as Zach who also gave a great performance and made me fall for Ransom even more. The side characters Tempest and Adrian played by Stella Hunter and Brian Pallino were freaking fantastic! I really enjoyed their little epilogue at the end. Basically, if you love a good sexy, swoony, sweet and funny story, you should definitely buy this book and/or audiobook. I want you to fall in love with Teagan and Ransom as much as I did.

Flirty friends to lovers

So it isn't a secret that Lauren Blakely is my favorite author. She's an automatic one click author for me, and books like this show why that is time and time again. I devoured Thanks For Last Night-both in audio and ebook form. My face hurt from smiling when I finished, but this flirty, fun and sexy book was totally worth it. Thanks for Last Night is a standalone book, but if you've read Lauren Blakely before you've met Ransom and Teagan. I just loved getting to know them even more here. If you haven't already met them, don't worry, you can dive in here. I really liked Teagan. She's competitive, sassy and fun. She loves her friends and is so supportive. She's the kind of person I would personally want to hang around with. I loved getting to watch her open herself up to Ransom! I had high hopes for Ransom and he did not disappoint! He is sexy, smart and fun. So much FUN. I loved watching his interactions with his sisters and his friends, and I loved how he responded to Teagan. I would date Ransom in a heartbeat! There is absolutely fabulous chemistry between Teagan and Ransom. What I love about a good friends to lovers book is watching that evolution happen, and I LOVE how it happened here. The entire premise made me grin. These two definitely are hot and steamy together; I definitely wanted a fan for some of this book! The journey these two took felt incredibly real and authentic. I always say I want to live in a Lauren Blakely book-and I would absolutely LOVE being dropped into this world. The supporting characters here are all people I want to hang out with and I am so glad I got to revisit some of them. When I read a Lauren Blakely book it's like visiting an old friend while finding a new one. The book flowed well for me; and I didn't feel the supporting characters overwhelmed Teagan and Ransom. They were an integral part of the story for a reason. The audio of this is phenomenal. In my opinion, Andi Arndt is a goddess. She can voice so many characters and make them all sound incredibly unique. Zachary Webber mentions my name in an offhand way so I can die happily now LOL. There are also cameos from other narrators such as Joe Arden, Stella Hunter and Brian Pallino that are amazing. I couldn't have asked for better performances on this book; they all brought these characters to life. I didn't want to put this book down; in fact, I listened to it/read it overnight. This sweet, sexy, flirty and fun book hit the spot and was just perfect. I absolutely loved this book and would highly recommend it.

Ransom and Teagan are fun, flirty and sexy!

Thanks for Last Night is the third book in The Guys Who Got Away series by the talented Lauren Blakely! It can be read as a standalone, but you should read all the books in the series since they are all awesome! This is Ransom and Teagan's story! They are just friends. Right? Yes, right. Until Ransom needs a favor and Teagan is just the right woman for the job. He's in a bachelor auction and he wants to win, so he asks Teagan to bid on him. It's just friendly. A friendly bid, a friendly date. But when a real kiss at the end of the auction turns their friendliness into lust, it's on! They can't keep their hands off each other and it'll just be one night. Then they can go back to just being friends. If they date for real and it goes bad, she can't risk losing the only family she has, their group of friends. Ransom always wanted her, but they have always been just friends. All their happily coupled up friends have been trying to push them together. Now that he's has a taste of her, he's not sure he can go back to being just friends. She's just too sexy, pretty, smart, fun. He wants her to be his. Will Ransom and Teagan take the risk that their friendship can lead them to forever? I loved this story! It's sweet, sexy, fast paced and full of fun, lust, and friendship. It was great to see the other characters from the series and meet a few new ones. I loved the bonus at the end too! Audio: Zachary and Andi are fantastic as always. They just have the ability to become the characters and I enjoyed listening to them be Ransom and Teagan!

Fun and fabulous!!

Let me tell you how much I loved this book. Not only did I read this book, I immediately listened to the audiobook right after reading it. Thanks For Last Night is a friends to lovers romance full of humor, spice (the set you on fire kind), friendship and love. You know a relationship is going to be epic when you click on so many levels. Let me tell you, there’s lots of “clicking” between Ransom and Teagan. The question is...will they sink or swim? As always Zachary, Andi, Brian, Stella and Joe nailed the narration, bringing this book to another epic level!

Heartwarming, Fun and Sexy Romance!

I loved this hilarious and heartfelt friends to lovers romance! This is the third book in the Guys Who Got Away series and features Ransom and Teagan. They are friends in a close knit, group of friends, co-workers and family. They are attracted to each other but don't want to act on it for fear it will be awkward for all if they break up. Seems reasonable right? But their friends see more than what Ransom and Teagan see, and when the perfect opportunity arises, the fun medaling begins. Ransom and Teagan are so perfect together. They have fun together, and their banter is witty while discovering each other's pasts, quirks, hopes and dreams. When they finally give in and give them a chance, they realize it is more than worth the risk to have it all together, with no rules and no limits. Ransom and Teagan are both wonderful characters that are caring, thoughtful, fun, and have explosive chemistry. I loved them both along with catching up and meeting more of their fun, loving, and supportive family and friends. I was also excited about the special extended epilogue about Martinez and the dots it connected from his story! Ms. Blakely creates such vibrant, witty characters who are socially conscious, work hard, and play even harder. Their world is a place I love to visit and feel apart of thanks in part to this wonderful cast of narrators who make Blakely's world come alive so perfectly. Zachary Webber, and Andi Arndt give amazing performances, along with special guest appearances by Brian Pallino, Stella Hunter, and Joe Arden. All of these very talented narrators can easily voice different characters. They are always a joy to listen to as they effortlessly bring out all the fine nuances that make these characters feel authentic and real. I especially swooned over Pallino's very sexy latin accent! I was totally captivated by this heartwarming, fun and sexy romance!

Teagan & Ransom!!!!

How can you not love Lauren Blakely's fun and flirty books? Every time, I know I am in for a fun time, and this one is an especially good time. Ransom and Teagan are an amazing couple. Thrown together on numerous occasions by their happily in relationship friends, it's impossible for them not to be good friends. But is there more? When Teagan wins Ransom at an auction for a date, we will find out just how much more there is. But is it more than one night? Fun, flirty, steamy, exciting, good friends, fun times, a little angst and a whole lot of feel good times, Lauren has given us a fantastic book. I love this couple for so many reasons. I love all their friends, especially getting to see Fitz and Dean, I love catching up on Brynn and Logan. And I just love the camaraderie this ensemble cast has.And hockey, we can't forget that! It's a wonderful way to spend an afternoon, bringing a smile to your face and love to your heart. As always, Lauren Blakely picks the narrators that are meant to be these characters. Zachary Webber as Ransom is fabulous. He is in tune with who Ransom is and and lets it flow in his voice. Andi Arndt is Teagan. She has a warmth to her voice and the perfect personality for her. Add in Brian Pallino's sexy Spanish accent, with Stella Hunter and Joe Arden cameos and it made my day!

Friends to lovers

I love this series and book 3 gives us all the hot sexy times as well as all the friendships that are all bonded together. Book 3 is Ransom and Teagan's story and they were destined to fall in love as all their co-friends already have their significant other so these two are the last ones out and naturally their friends want them to be happy. Since they already like each other and have so many things in common it just makes sense and when Ransom needs Teagan's help one thing leads to another and they have their one night but now what? Is it just that, one night? What do you say when you are leaving from said night, "thanks for last night"? Especially when you want it to be so much more. This is a love story that was meant to happen and it is also about their friends and their love lives as well. We are woven back and forth between characters from past books that we loved and future love to come. I love when old characters are pulled into the current book so I can catch up with them again and this book gives us that. There are naturally hurdles to get through but nothing major and this is all love and fun and happy endings. Zachary Webber and Andi Arndt are always amazing and they did a great job with Ransom and Teagan's story. Loved listening to both of them as well as an added bonus of Brian Pallino, Stella Hunter, and Joe Arden. I highly recommend this book.
