I hate Christmas.

As CEO of my company, I’ve banned decorations from the office, festive music from the lobby, and any kind of secret Santa gifts between employees are strictly forbidden.

I’m heading to the airport, away from the Christmas lights and the mulled wine, heading for sunshine and margaritas when I get a call from Granny. She’s sprained her ankle and needs my help filling in for her as head of the village Christmas Committee. Snowsly is the Christmas Capital of England and the last place I want to be in the lead up to Christmas.

But there’s nothing I wouldn’t do for Granny.

When I arrive in Snowsly, I’m introduced to Celia Sommers, who is Christmas’ biggest fan, and, therefore, my own personal nightmare before Christmas. Worse than that, I have to work with her to make Snowsly’s Christmas market a success.

Celia is determined to get me in the festive spirit. It’s not going to work.

It doesn’t matter if she’s smart and funny and easy to flirt with - if she doesn’t stop looking at me with her sparkling eyes and pouting her completely kissable lips, Celia is going straight to the top of my naughty list.

This is a fun, short holiday set read. The writing is easy to devour and follow. I enjoyed these characters and found them relatable. The side characters are unique and add to the fabric of the story. I enjoyed this story and Bay’s stories are never disappointing.

I listened to this on audio and enjoyed the narrators. They are easy to follow and understand.

Louise Bay takes us on yet another wonderful journey! Set in the idyllic region of the Cotswolds, this Christmas tale will warm your heart like mulled wine on a starry night. Wonderful narration by Shane and Clare, and beautifully written by the author. Eyes closed, I let this story whisk me off my feet into a faraway land of love, adventure, and new beginnings :)

Ceo Sebastian arrives in Snowsly to help His granny for Christmas run her business. Sebastian is such a Scrooge; his idea of the holidays is escaping to somewhere tropical. He meets Celia Sommers who works for Granny and they both get to work while granny is recovering from a broken leg. Celia is recovering from a hard breakup while she manages to soften Sebastian to the idea of Christmas. All of Snowsly towns folk seem to think they are a perfect match and conspire to bring these two together.
Such a Cheeky, sexy, smuty Hallmark story. Very entertaining, cheerful and plenty of humor.
Highly recommend this for a quick and hot holiday read!!
