About this listen

In this #1 New York Times bestseller,an attention-seeking copycat from the Women’s Murder Club’s past is recreating murders by a famous killer—with devastating new twists.

Detective Lindsay Boxer put serial killer Evan Burke in jail.

Reporter Cindy Thomas wrote a book that put him on the bestseller list.

An obsessed maniac has turned Burke’s true-crime story into a playbook. And is embellishing it with gruesome touches all his own.

Now Lindsay’s tracking an elusive suspect, and the entire Murder Club is facing destruction.

I love these stories and the characters. They feel like friends now. Easy to listen to and follow while commuting.

The storyline is very predictable. I figured the story rather quickly and knew it was going to end. The story was shallow and it felt rushed. The male voices were annoying

Predictable

Great suspense but the voices of Cindy and Yuki are childish and annoying. I wish their voices would remind us of their strength.

Great story but

Found the story a bit hokey. The reading as well. One character who was introduced and arrested we never found out who he was or what role he was means to play.

Bit of a letdown.

Once again Lt. Boxer and friends work to unravel clues. Their lives in jeopardy at times until they finally check out a long shot.
Suspect and victim found.

Reader felt the criminal had been identified but continued to be teased

I used to enjoy this series. It’s obviously run it’s course. Nothing terribly interesting and the characters have lost any depth

Meh
