I found this book really interesting and enjoyable. I have been homeschooling 2 years now but I felt like I wasn't doing enough. This was amazing for me because I realized my kids are learning all the time as I did as a child and school didn't prepare me for life. I would recommend this book for any homeschooler. I also think it comes across very travel based which they use to teach geography/ history but I can see how it can work in other ways for example my son of 6 loves cooking so doing an hour of maths/english/science allows him to have time to practice cooking ( he made doughnuts the other day) I will be doing this from now on.

This is an awesome book, yet as a homeschool parent myself , i felt it was a bit of a waste of time. The author is apt at convincing parents to take their childs education by the reigns, but as someone who already homeschools it was a bit disappointing.

Passion for homeschooling

I found the book inspiring heading into our first year of homeschooling. It was helpful to me for ideas that I will likely use to explain to my friends and family the positive opportunities that homeschooling can offer. I found it a bit repetitive, and it mostly tells of the author’s family’s journey with homeschooling. They are keen to travel and learn life lessons first hand.
