Front row seats to the most intense episode in modern times!
Some pronunciation of a few foreign words was off, otherwise great performance.

Exactly what you want from historical fiction

Grounded, detailed, digestible, and relatable. What a great first book. The audiobook performances were solid, maybe flat in some parts, but they were good, and there really isn't a thing to complain about. Is there room to grow? Sure, but the characters are likeable, relatable, and era-appropriate. This is what contemporary historical fiction, especially that in the military and intelligence realms should be.
